1993 Toyota Camry LE V6 Start Up, Engine, and In Depth Tour
In this video I give a full in depth tour of the 1993 Toyota Camry. I take viewers on a close look through the interior and exterior of this car while showing details, over viewing of features, and noting unique styling cues to the vehicle itself. I also show the engine and the details of it, start it up and see how it sounds under acceleration. A thorough tour/review of this car designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle. Thanks to Ken Simon the Camry forum moderator for ToyotaNation.com, youtube user LynchburgCSI57 for this helpful information! That's a 3rd generation LE V6 with the 3VZ-FE engine which was only available for 2 years (92-93) in the US (the 1MZ-FE replaced it for 94-96). The 3VZ is an iron block, aluminum head engine derived from the Toyota truck V6 of the era. They just added fuel injection. It also has 100% of its torque available from 2500 into the 4800 range. 185 hp at 5800 rpm and 195 ft/lbs at 4600 rpm. The ECT button (and green light in the PRND2L column) you probably saw in the car holds the transmission's shift point to a higher RPM before up shifting and waits longer before down shifting. Basically, it allows for sportier driving, better throttle response, and lessened fuel economy. About 35% of Camrys in this year were built in Japan (VIN starts with a J) and the rest were built in Kentucky (VIN starts with a 4). No major parts are different between the two, just a neat fact. The 3VZ was also equipped with ACIS (Acoustic Control Induction System) which basically is a valve that varies the intake runner lengths to help optimize performance and low and high engine speeds. Kicks in around 3500, I believe. Sort of a weaker version of VVTi (toyota's variable valve timing).

2009 Smart Fortwo Passion Coupe Start Up, Exhaust, In Depth Review, and Test Drive
Hello and welcome to Saabkyle04! YouTube's largest collection of automotive variety! In today's video, we will take an up close and personal in depth look at the 2009 Smart Fortwo Passion Coupe. A neat, quirky, different take on sub compacts. The Smart boasts dramatic looks, surprising interior space and safety, with Mercedes Benz build quality. While some of it's drivetrain characteristics offer a love it or hate it feel, you just can't help to think it's quite the neat car! A 70hp 1.0L 3 cyl engine with a 5 speed automated manual transmission, providing reasonable power and zippy acceleration for city traveling. Although no race car, it's definitely a fun and unique vehicles for those looking for a fuel efficient vehicle that strays away from the norm! During this presentation, we will take a 1st person look at what the Fortwo is all about beginning with the start up, performance data, fuel economy, the occasional track data, and build quality. 1988 Toyota Camry 1 Owner Amazing Records LE v6 SE 77k Miles XLNT For Sale
This is a very nice 88 Toyota Camry LE that is very nice. The previous owner kept immaculate records The guy even kept track of every tank of gas he put in the car and There is a record book full of reciepts and the car is The cleanest you will find!. Make sure and Visit My website http://www.1ownercarguy.com and feel free to call anytime Nathan Wratislaw AKA 1 Owner Car Guy 406 544 6919 From Wikipedia: The second Camry model premiered in 1986, this time including a four-door hardtop and five-door station wagon, while dropping the liftback body style. The hardtop version was sold only in the Japanese market under the "Camry Prominent" name. Like the previous V10 model, there was again a parallel model for the home market, the Vista V20. The Vista was offered in the sedan and hardtop configurations, with the hardtop forming the basis for the Lexus ES 250 sold in North America from 1989 through to 1991. In 1988, an all-wheel drive system dubbed All-Trac was introduced and a 2.5-liter 118 kW (158 hp) (JIS) V6 engine were added as options for the first time. The V6 was fuel-injected with 24 valves, and dual overhead camshafts, much like the upgraded 96 kilowatts (129 hp) JIS four-cylinder engine. In Japan there was a GT model using the older 3S-GE engine as used on the Celica. This particular model also had a factory strut brace similar to an AE92 Corolla and rode on the V6 model's 15 inch alloy wheels. This particular model also had an electronic instrument cluster. In 1987, Toyota Australia began producing these second-generation Camrys in Port Melbourne, Victoria. In fact, it was the first Camry ever made outside of Japan. A 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine rated at 64 kilowatts (86 hp) was standard on the base model, while a twin-cam, multi-valve 2.0-liter straight-four engine and five-speed manual transmission was available on all others. A four-speed overdrive automatic was made optional. All models bar the Ultima had a two-barrel carburettor version of the engine (3S-FC); the Ultima featured an electronic fuel-injected (EFI) version of the same (3S-FE). The base engine produced 82 kilowatts (110 hp) and 166 newton metres (122 lb·ft) of torque, with 88 kilowatts (118 hp) and 171 newton metres (126 ft·lbf) for the EFI version. In 1988, a 2.5-liter V6 was introduced. The V6 sat the very top of the range, and was the only model to be imported from Japan. Due to its positioning in the line-up, and the high import duty it attracted, it was very expensive (almost A$30,000), and only sold in small numbers. In 1989, the 1.8-liter engine was dropped, and was replaced with the 2.0-liter carbureted engine, until early 1991, when the EFI version of was made standard. This was the result of the introduction of more stringent emission standards in Australia. Toyota Motor Manufacturing Kentucky, the first wholly owned US Toyota plant, began producing the Camry in 1988, where three trim levels of the second-generation Camry were made: the unbadged base model, the DX, and the LE. The country of manufacture can be found by looking at the first character of the VIN. A Camry manufactured in Japan has a VIN starting with "J", a model made in the US starts with "4" and a model made in Australia starts with "6". The 2.5-liter engine and Camry chassis was repackaged as the upscale Lexus ES 250. The ES 250 was essentially the Japanese-market Camry hardtop. In 1991, anti-lock brakes became optional on the V6, LE, and station wagon models. YouTube's largest collection of automotive variety! In today's video, we will take an up close and personal in depth look at the very rare and quite bold 1988 Lamborghini Countach 5000 Quattrovalvole. Only 658 examples were produced from 1988-1989 before the introduction of the Diablo. " The rear 'air boxes' were restyled and enlarged, while the vents behind them were changed so that they ran front to back instead of side to side. In addition, a new air dam and side skirting, both with air intakes, were fitted, and the taillights were restyled to be narrower, with body-colored panels replacing the upper and lower parts of the previous large taillights. The styling changes were unpopular with many, particularly since the intakes had strakes in them that appeared to mimic those on the Ferrari Testarossa, but they improved the engine's cooling, a problem the Countach had always struggled with. It also featured 345/35R15 tires; the widest tires available on a production car at the time " (Wikipedia). During this presentation, we will take a 1st person look at what the vehicle is all about beginning with the start up, performance data, fuel economy, the occasional track data, and build quality. Also, I will teach you how to use most of the interior and exterior features in a detailed fashion, that before, you could only get from going to a dealership yourself! The 2015 Camry will offer exterior lighting with available LED low and high-beams and auto static leveling. The Camry's rear tail lamps sweep into the tapered sheet metal at the rear of the car. A decorative garnish connects the tail lamps across the trunk lid and emphasizes its new sporty stance. A Modern, Refined Interior The interior of the new Camry is more refined than ever with premium materials, roomier feel and improved amenities. The center stack features a high-tech, upscale look that smoothly integrates with the console. The center console tray has been redesigned to increase capacity while offering a convenient power source in the storage box. The new enclosed bin in front of the shifter now offers 12v, USB and a segment-first, available wireless charging system for select smart phones. The 2015 Camry's cockpit offers intuitive top-flight in-car electronics and displays that help reduce driver stress and distraction. The instrument panel features a new 4.2-inch TFT screen nestled between the three-dimensional Optitron gauges on the SE, XLE and XSE models. The screen's color animation displays a wide range of vehicle functions and coordinates with the multimedia system to display audio, navigation, warnings and communications. Detailed stitching and trim elements finished in satin chrome convey a sophisticated appearance. Varying by model, seat cover textures range from premium cloth all of the way to genuine leather and Ultrasuede with durable, high contrast French-stitching. The Quietest Camry Ever Toyota engineers focused on reducing unwanted wind and road noise to offer an even quieter cabin. Window and door seals were improved to keep noise outside. The carpet features 30 percent more insulating material. Even the Camry's side mirrors were redesigned to better control air flow reducing turbulence and noise. Dialing Up Driving Dynamics Additional spot welds were added to the door opening flanges to increase rigidity and enable spirited handling. A combination of Macpherson struts up front, a multi-link arrangement at the rear and a stiffer body structure allows for unique suspension tuning across trim levels. The electric power steering on all Camry models is tuned for better on-center feel, better straight line stability and more direct-feeling steering inputs. In addition to improvements in steering feel, the new Camry's hydraulic system has been revised with a two-stage brake Booster to improve brake feel. The Camry will continue to be available with 2.5-liter four-cylinder or 3.5-liter V6 gas engines paired with 6-speed automatic transmissions, or a 2.5-liter Atkinson Cycle engine with Hybrid Synergy drive matched to an E-CVT. Making the Grade In 2011, Toyota launched the sporty Camry SE grade, resulting in attracting buyers that were 12 years younger than the rest of the segment average. The SE model now accounts for 45 percent of the Camry sales mix, proving that drivers want sportier models. Building on this success, the Camry XSE grade gives customers more of what they want with enthusiastic driving dynamics and luxurious amenities. The Camry SE and XSE are distinguished by a unique mesh grille and fascia treatment. The Camry XSE adds to its edgier look with model-specific 18-inch wheels, unique shock absorbers, firmer bushings, higher rate coil springs, and unique EPS tuning, making it the sportiest Camry yet. Also for 2015, a Camry Hybrid SE has been added to the lineup with unique dynamic suspension tuning that delivers an eco-fun driving experience. Up front, a stabilizer bar, absorber valve structure, and control arm bushing components were enhanced to offer improved ride quality while sharpening steering feel. The Hybrid SE's vehicle stability control system has been retuned for smoother intervention and a more natural driving feel. Advanced Safety Features All Toyota vehicles come standard with the STAR Safety System. In addition, Camry will offer safety-focused driver aids including Lane Departure Alert, Adaptive Cruise Control, Pre-Collision System with Auto High Beams, and Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross Traffic Alert. Everybody's All-American Every Camry sold in North America is the product of over 7,000 skilled American team members. From design and engineering in Michigan, to assembly in Kentucky, a unique American touch goes into each Camry that rolls off of the line. It was the flagship sedan of Toyota in the United States. The same chassis with slightly different bodies was available in other countries as the Toyota Mark II, Toyota Chaser and Toyota Cresta. The Cressida name was retired in 1992 (1993 in Australia), but the chassis and Mark II, Chaser, and Cresta names continued production in Japan until the early 2000s. In total, Toyota sold 353,053 Cressidas in the United States. The Cressida was available worldwide in a variety of body styles and engines — including the 6-cylinder G-series, M-series, and the 4-cylinder R-series gasoline engines, as well as the 4-cylinder L series diesel. The name "Cressida" derives from the lead character in William Shakespeare's play Troilus and Cressida. Toyota introduced the slightly larger fourth generation of the Cressida, the MX83, in 1988 for the 1989 model year — the final generation for the Cressida in North America. Standard features included a new, more powerful 3.0-liter straight six 7M-GE engine producing 190 horsepower (140 kW) at 6000 RPM and 185 lb-ft (250 Nm) at 4400 RPM. As with the powertrain, most other mechanicals were modified versions of those in the Supra, most notably the new double-wishbone rear suspension. Standard equipment included power windows and locks, cruise control, a tilt-telescoping steering wheel, and a 4-speed automatic transmission. Options included antilock brakes, a power driver's seat, leather upholstery, power moonroof, and a CD player. All Cressidas of this generation featured motorized automatic seat belts; airbags were never offered. This particular model is known as the 2 door sedan due to the tall roofline and b-pillar, also known as a post car. I purchased this car in February 2011 with the dream of being able to fix up a car, restore it, and bring back to the original factory look. I'm a huge fan of classic cars and always have been. My grandfather "papa" instilled this in me a long time ago, as did my dad when he restored papa's '48 ford 2 door sedan back when I was little. This car is about 90% original and numbers matching with the original 289 cubic inch V8 (4.7L) and the original 3 speed manual on the column. It has an custom dual Exhaust (not sure what kind as it was already on the car when I bought it), not to mention original wheels, chrome, door panels, headliner, etc. I bought many items for this car because I wanted to "option it out" since it was a more "basic" fairlane 500. I will explain EVERY LITTLE detail about the car that you were curious about and probably more than you cared to know hahaha. I basically wanted to make this car look as it did from rolling out of the showroom, I collected original keys, documentation, brochures, an owner's manual and much more! I DO have the original video of this car when I first got it, before I did ANYTHING to it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8SIbQCRt7Qw This video has been more than a year in the making and has taken a couple months to edit and get everything together, a ton of love and pride went into it! I hope everyone enjoys!!!! Throughout the video, I will highlight key styling and unique differences about the vehicle, any available options, and of course it would not be an enthusiast car video without the good ole engine portion with rev and Exhaust note with interior and exterior perspectives. A thorough tour/review of this car designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle. FOR MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THE CHANNEL SEE BELOW: In this channel you will find in depth reviews/tour of automobiles from all over the world, presented in a more detailed fashion than ever before. Basically, this gives the viewer the chance to view the most detailed 1st person look you can get without going to an actual dealer yourself!
