DEUTZ V12 DIESEL MODEL A12L614 YEAR 1954
Here is a running example of the very first V12 model DEUTZ made, dating
back to 1954. They only made this A12L614 model for 6 years. It is 16
litres in capacity and air cooled. The design dates back to before WW2 but
their construction could not commence until Germany was rebuilt.
The Deutz V12 are very rare and this is one of the oldest running examples
I am running modified airfilters and Exhausts.
This is our 24 cylinder Detroit that we are putting in a custom 359
Peterbilt. It will use an Allison Transmission, and the engine will be in
the front of the truck. We are starting off with 40 foot 4" X 14" rectangle
rails, not sure how long it will end up being.
