Track Battle RX-8 vs 370Z
I had a fun little battle with a 370Z at Pacific Raceways. He had me the whole track except through turns 8 and 9. I believe he was stock running Bridgestone Potenza REO50. I am stock running Yokohama Advan Neova AD08. He said he just didn't have the traction through those two turns.

For year the Z has been one of the most beloved affordable sports cars both here in the United States and in Japan as well. The 2012 Nissan 370Z is considered the Mustang of Japan since the drive train configuration, price, and body style is similar to that of many American muscle cars. The 2012 Nissan 370Z has a base price of $31,910 with the top of the line Touring Roadster costing over $44,000.
The 2012 Nissan 370Z is powered by one of the best engines every produced by Nissan. The VQ37VHR is a 3.7 liter V-6 engine with Variable Valve Timing that produces 332 horsepower and 270 lb-ft. of torque. A 6-speed manual or 7-speed automatic transmission puts the power down to the rear wheels. The 2012 Nissan 370Z can achieve up to 19 MPG in the city and 26 MPG on the highway.
The 370Z is considered to be the little brother of the mighty Nissan GT-R. It is smaller, costs less, and does not have as much power. That being said the 2012 Nissan 370Z does benefit from having the GT-R as an older brother in that some of the high end technology and options have been passed down to the 370Z. The first thing you notice are the huge 19-inch RAYS sport rims. These forged alloy wheels are not only strong but they are also lightweight. The 370Z also sports a sleek body with functional spoilers both front and rear. In the performance department the 2012 Nissan 370Z has a viscous limited-slip differential which makes sure power is transferred to the wheel that needs it the most. Also the Nissan 370Z features a SynchroRev Match system which automatically blips the throttle to promote faster and smoother shifting between gears.
The 2012 Nissan 370Z is an excellent sports car. It may be a little rough around the edges and a little on the pricey side, but if you want a true Japanese sports car with over 300 horsepower and rear-wheel drive, then the 370Z is an excellent choice.

Hyundai Genesis V8 vs 370Z
A co-worker just got his 370Z about 3 weeks ago and as we were leaving 2nd shift we decided to run them. We both had our ESC (VDC for Nissan I guess) off and we both spun like crazy. I think I throttled off around 140. I ADMIT DEFEAT...but Its hard to believe that a HUGE, HEAVY, BOAT with a measly 375hp V8 actually ALMOST beat a true sports car. WOW! Ill take that any day! His 3rd gear was STRONG but you can see that when he hit 4th we kinda evened out a bit. I would imagine things would be different had we both not spun...but if I left my ESC on, I would have been dead at the light. Anywho, ENJOY!

My new 370Z Startup and quick walkaround
This is my new Red 370Z with 7sp automatic. This Z has sports package which makes it 19in Rays. In addition, it has a front chin spoiler and a rear spoiler. In my opinion the 370Z must have at least sports package. Also, my 370Z has the Touring Package which gives it Homelink, leather seats, Bose soundsystems, and some other nice features. Finally, I have the Navigation package. Some feel that this is unnecessary but without it there is no screen except a big hole which I hate. I will probably upload some other things about my car, but ENJOY!!!
