Porsche Rennsport Reunion IV. This film features the 917s, 910s, 908s and
906s of Porsche racing history. It takes you through the Paddock and parts
of the Laguna Seca track. It gives you the visuals along with the sounds of
these great racing Porsches.

Porsche Rennsport Reunion 4 will assemble the wide variety of Porsche's
most historic racing models - From the nimble 550 Spyder of the mid 50's,
through the mighty 917 and 956/962 of the seventies and eighties, the
highly successful RS Spyder of the last decade. Special tribute will be
paid to the many racing versions of the Porsche 911, at the dawn of what
will become another milestone of this iconic sport car.

Views are changing between forwards and backwards pointed perspectives,
competing against Ford GT 40, Porsche 911 ST, BMW 2002, 3,0 CSL, Lotus Elan
among many others. The class was won and the second place overall could be

The moon landing was no doubt the most pioneering event of 1969. But what
Volkswagen and Porsche came out with that year also looked to many sports
car lovers like something out of this world. The VW-Porsche 914 polarized
people -- and still does today. Some consider the car a rotten compromise,
others a true maverick. Still the numbers speak for themselves -- some
120-thousand 914s were built, making it the first mid-engine car to rack up
six-digit sales figures.

150 Hp Type IV high performance engine, 71mm stroke x 104mm bore. Scat C45
cam, polished intakes, 44mm x 38mm SS valves, 9.2:1 CR, dual 44mm Webers. I
built this engine for my brother and while I was gone he shot the video
with my test Exhaust removed. The good
thing is that he the engine ran fine for the 3 years he had it so luckily
he didn't hurt anything.
