(Turn your speakers up!) The Matra 670 with its screaming V12 and the Mazda 787B are, in my opinion, are two of the greastest sounding cars. Here they are blasting up the hill at the Goodwood Festival Of Speed 2011. Unfortunately the 787B wasnt going full whack though luckily the Matra was.

Mazda 787B, Mazda RX-792P, Mazda RX-7 The 787B and RX-792B both use the 4-rotor R26B an engine that is easily capable of at least 900 HP, but limited for long term racing reliability to 700 HP. Racing rotary engines are easily one of the loudest Exhausts at idle and arguably the loudest Exhaust note on the track at full song. An incredible engineering feat and incredible engine.

Proceso de remontaje del motor Renesis de un Mazda RX-8. NO ES UN REBUILD de Motor puesto que no se han cambiado ninguna junta de estanqueidad, sellos de aceite o sellos de motor. Se ha limpiado todas las piezas y se han reutilizado, con el propósito de practicar el montaje del motor y almacenarlo de una manera mas compacta para en un futuro rehacerlo con piezas destinadas a su uso en competición. Goodwood Festival of Speed 2011, a W165 Mercedes silver arrow warming up. Chassis 449547 was the second of the two W165s completed for the 1939 Tripoli Grand Prix. It was considered the slower of the two cars and Lang was sent out in it with an unfavourable strategy. He nevertheless dominated the race and if he had wanted, he could have lapped his 'team leader' in the closing stages. As mentioned the car was only tested and demonstrated after its debut victory. It remained dormant for over fifty years and is still only very rarely seen outside of Stuttgart. Celebrating the 75th anniversary of the 'Silver Arrows,' it is seen here at one of those rare outings, during the 2009 Retromobile in Paris.
