Camera guy messed up on the last race - started video taping 2 seconds after they took off.
Otherwise pretty good races, both cars are pushing similar power, it just depends who gets a better start.
For the record Mustang was automatic also.

I've had quite the week in terms of cars, the highlights being seeing 5 Veyrons (1 Vitesse, 1 Super Sport, 1 Grand Sport, 2 coupes) and seeing THIS 1,500 horsepower Underground Racing twin turbo LP560-4 Gallardo destroy the Beverly Hills streets.
Onto the video, some may recognize the title from another video, I've altered it a bit to fit this scenario ;) This car is absolutely ridiculously insanely FAST, as well as it is loud... It set off some car alarms and probably hit 80+ mph on some of those pulls! And, well listen to those turbos!!! Anyways, watch the video and please, TURN UP THE SPEAKERS! Enjoy!

2013 Ford Mustang GT Track Package racing a lightly modified 2004 Subaru Impreza WRX at the local eighth mile drag strip. You can hear my 2013 Mustang GT spin a little in first, second, and third gear going down the track. And the Exhaust you hear right before we run is the 2004 Subaru Impreza WRX, so you know it has some modifications. And the burnout at the beginning was for the video. Friday night at racelegal.com drag race a 2013 ford boss 302 Mustang starts of okay against the gt500 Mustang bust the boss 302 turns left and knock over the cones but does not hit anything.
Ford revived the Boss 302 nameplate for 2012. The standard 2011 Ford Mustang GT's 5.0-liter V8 is enhanced with an upgraded intake system, forged rotating assembly, CNC ported heads, revised camshafts and a high flow "runners in the box" intake taken from the 302R racecar.[9] It produces 444 horsepower -- 32 hp (24 kW) over the standard GT's 412 hp (307 kW). The engine loses about 10 lb·ft (14 N·m). of torque at peak when compared to the standard GT. It is rated at 380 lb·ft (515 N·m) and comes with a six-speed MT-82 manual transmission. A 3.73 rear axle uses carbon fiber plates in its limited slip differential or an optional Torsen differential. The quad Exhaust system made up of two standard Mustang GT outlets and two side pipes that exit on either side of the rear crossover. The side pipes send the Exhaust through metal "Attenuation" discs to create an extra growling Exhaust sound. The discs are removable and include a spacer plate sized to match aftermarket Exhaust dump valves.
The Boss 302 takes the Mustang GT's suspension and adds higher-rate coil springs, stiffer bushings, and a larger diameter rear stabilizer bar. The body is lowered 11 mm (0.4 in) up front and just 1 mm (0.0 in) in the rear to give it a more raked stance designed to recall the original. The shocks are adjustable at the shock tower by using a flat head screwdriver. The standard Mustang traction and stability control programs have been altered with a new intermediate sport mode designed to allow for more flexibility on the track.
The aero package is almost entirely copied from the Boss 302R race car. The 19-inch black-alloy racing wheels are 9-inches wide up front and 9.5-inches out back and come within Pirelli P-Zero tires.
