Viper Racing League - 8/29/09 - Texas World Speedway
This is my first race with the Viper Racing League (Viper Days/NARRA) at Texas World Speedway on Saturday 8/29/09. We have a rolling start with a pace car and ran 12 laps for about 30 minutes. I edited this video from the 30 minute race down to 10 minutes so it would fit within the YouTube! time limit. We also had a 26 lap inverted race on Sunday for about 50 minutes but my camera messed up and I only got the first lap and it shut off. Anyway, I came in 3rd place in both races behind the World Challenge competition coupes which are much faster and have better drivers. I was extremely happy to come in 3rd. In this race, I started out in the 3rd row inside and managed to get behind Tom in his white/blue comp coupe. I chased him most of the race just waiting for a mistake. He began losing his tires and I managed to stick my nose in on turn 13. He was gracious and let me by but could have easily kept me from passing. We were pretty even the whole race and it was tons of fun. Thanks, Tom! The next race is Roebling Road in Georgia and then off to Daytona on the Rolex Series course.
Viper Racing League - Inverted 1-hour race - MSR Cresson - Rogue ACR-X
This is part of a 1-hour Viper Racing League inverted race. The inverted
race is where the faster
qualifying cars start toward the back and the slower qualifying cars start
toward the front. Since I have only 10 minutes for a youtube video, there's
simply no way to show the whole race. So, I have a few snippets here only
but you'll get the idea. :)
Dodge Viper ACR racing at Daytona International Speedway with PBOC and Viper Days
Here is a 10 min video of Chad McNiel and David McNiel trip to Daytona -
First are random pictures of the cars and track and then on to racing....
Chad Raced his SRT-4 Neon in the Challenge group of Viper Days and PBOC
Florida Chapter and hit speeds in the 140's.... Me, well I in the race
group and was toping out around 170 on the main straight...The track was
fairly challenging and was very fast. A ton of walls and things to hit if
you went off - During the 2-hour endurance race on Saturday 4 cars had
blowouts - 2 of which hit the wall and had a lot of damage.... I think they
learned a lot about proper tire pressures that day. Lots of cars from raced
from BMW, Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini, corvette and Comp Coupe Viper and
yes the Dodge Viper ACR; Kevin Ferguson and Brad Gorrondana from the Dallas
area with their ACRs were with us too.
Roebling Road Mustang GT chasing Modded C5
This was taken running with Seat-time.com on Saturday April 3, 2010. It was
a small group, but a lot of good drivers showed for the event. I am
following a track buddy in his modified C5 track car. It is gutted, with
coilovers, longtubes, and running on hoosiers. We get held up towards the
beginning, but we get through the traffic which includes a beautiful Viper
I am in a modified 1998 Mustang GT. It weighs 3500lbs w/
driver with roughly 300rwhp. I have upgraded the suspension and brakes, and
I am running on Nitto NT01 tires.
This video is from the Viper Racing League Invitational Race at Miller
Motorsports Park. What makes it interesting is the Whelen Engineering
Rolex GT car piloted by Eric Curran as well as 3 other Whelen Rolex and
World Challenge cars were entered. Eric's car had a mechanical DNF on
Saturdays race but he lit up the track on Sunday. However, the SMS
Corvette won the Saturday race and was 1st in qualifying so all that was
needed on Sunday was to finish ahead of the Vipers to get the overall win.
This video is from the start with a reverse order grid. (slowest cars

The Driver's Edge (TWS) - 911 Turbo S 1:58.7 lap on 3/3/12
My second time at the famous Texas World Speedway in College Station, TX.
Running in yellow group with the Driver's Edge on 3/3/12. Car is a 2012
Porsche 911 turbo S running on Toyo R888
tires, but otherwise stock 530 hp.
It was a crowded day, but fun nonetheless. It's always interesting to see
where you gain time, but mainly gained time from entry into carousel, turns
13-15, and of course that crazy sequence into turn 1. I never would have
guessed it until I compiled the video and watched it for myself. Skip to
10:50 to see it.
TEXAS WORLD SPEEDWAY Z06 881

Texas World Speedway May 22 Clockwise in Viper ACR
NARRA/Viper Days. Texas World Speedway clockwise in Viper ACR. My second
track day in the car and first weekend running clockwise. White Run Group
on PS2 tires. This is the first 10 minutes of a 30 minute session and I'm
just getting into a groove.
A Tour of Texas World Speedway Part 1: 2 Mile Oval
This is the first video of a two-part tour of Texas World Speedway, located
in College Station, TX. This is the 2-mile d-shaped oval, one of only 7
2-mile or longer superspeedways in the United States. These are parade laps
during lunch time at a TWS MSC/PDS DE event on 1-18-2009. "Highway speeds"
must be maintained and no passing is allowed.
