Restomod Futura Exhaust sound
This video clip is of my '78 Ford Fairmont Futura Restomod project with a 4.6L 32-valve modular motor. Exhaust is a custom 2.25" into single 3" Dynomax Ultraflow muffler with the tailpipe exiting the stock location to keep the car looking low-key.

Este es mi súper Ford Fairmont del modelo 1979 restaurado por completo ya que en su totalidad todo fue reparado, su motor v8 302 fue destapado para checar el desgaste provocado por el uso de estos 31 años desde su salida de agencia y como pudimos comprobar solo tenía 0.3mm de desgaste por lo que se considero por medida estándar aun así se ajusto, En cuestión de ojalatera este se encontraba en buen estado por lo que solo fue necesario darle un bañito de pintura de su mismo color originarla vestidura es nueva ya que la original estaba un poco dañada, todo lo del tablero fue sustituido por partes originales de otros autos, su cajuela en particular fue alfombrada para su mejor comodidad, en la parte de la refacción cuenta con su gato y llave de tuercas original aparte de las que se ven en el video, a toda su suspensión sele cambio por partes nuevas lo que son resortes y amortiguadores, en accesorios solo lo que se ha modificado es la parte del audio ya que cuenta con equipo de la marca pionner, clarion, jc power y sus bocinas ambientales son todas de la marca pionner. De verdad es un auto cómodo con climas, espacioso y con una línea elegante además de una potencia en su motor que permite ponerte a duelo con cualquier otro auto. Se tardo en su reparación alrededor de dos años y medio. Aquí se los dejo para que lo vean.

1978 Ford Fairmont Futura Pro Street for sale. Looking for some serious horsepower? Look no farther! This 78 Ford has a 420 CID V8 in it that is Dyno tested at 496 HP and 504 lb/ft of torque! All of this power is running to a C-6 automatic transmission with a transbrake, reverse, manual valve body, lower first and second gears, roller bearings, 3000 torque converter with anti balloon plates. This runs to a 9" rear end with 4.00 gears. There are tons of parts in this build, including Comp Cams hydraulic roller cam, Kook stainless steel headers, MSD ignition, 3.5" x 15" front and 14" x 15" rear Weld wheels, fiberglass hood and deck lid, Ed Quay rear wing, ladder bar rear suspension, coil over front suspension, D & D cross member, aluminum radiator with dual thermostat controlled fans, 750 Holley carburetor, electric fuel pump, and 12 gallon fuel cell. The engine was built by Panhandle Performance in Panama City, Florida, and there are tons of specs available for the build. To top it all off, this car is completely street legal in its home state. Pass Time Event at the LRS 10th Anniversary
In the planning stages of our 10th Anniversary our Sales Manager Mike Linley suggested that since our employees were not really getting a chance to run their cars down the track, maybe we could organize a "Pass-Time" style game show for a few lucky people from the car show. We thought about it, and all decided it was a great idea. If you have never watched the popular Pass-Time TV show on Speed channel, the basics are that you have contestants that try and guess the elapsed time of one car they have never seen go down the track before. The challenge is that they can only ask the driver one question to help them narrow a guess for the ET and whichever of the contestants is closest to the ET wins money. Cars can range from daily drivers or they can change up drivers to make it more interesting and don't forget the combo round where you have to guess the total ET of two cars going down the 1320 at the same time. Usually they wrap up the show with a really fast car to throw everyone off.
