1968 Impala, Doomsday, chrome moly, tagged to 6.0. Three and a half years
work, representing approximately 5000 hours investment of time. Uploaded in
full 1080 HD. Adjust the little cog, next to the clock on the bottom right
of the screen to adjust the viewing quality. Car is a Chevy's full size
offering, a1968 Chevrolet Impala, naturally aspirated with 496cu methanol
carburation. Chassis is tagged to 6.0. Best ET with this engine 8.69 at

The New Hemi Racing (NHR) 09 Drag Pak Challenger was wired, fired, tuned,
and tested here at http://DIYAutoTune.com
Car is a 2009 Dodge Challenger Drag Pak car (#24). 6.1 Hemi. Built 904
trans. Weighs 3130 lbs give or take a couple.
This video highlights the MegaSquirt EFI Installation, full
quick-disconnect engine harness build, the chassis wiring, switches, etc.
Next it shows a cool time-lapse of the vinyl wrap process. If you've never
seen a car being wrapped that's definitely cool to watch.
Finally we have a Dyno
pull and the maiden voyage down the track. It's a soft pass with an easy
launch and Chris gets out of it at about the 1000', but this was the first
day the car had moved under it's own power, just shaking it out. That's
the only pass this car has made as of today (until Thursday of this week)
and we didn't get a time slip due to someone tripping the lights prior to
the run, but the car ran clean and straight.
For anyone not familiar with the Dodge / Mopar Drag Pak Challenger, google
them and you'll learn a good bit about the history of these cars. They are
basically factory built race cars, pulled off the line early 'body in
white' leaving much of the car unfinished so that it can be finished at
another facility. Then the owner finishes the car out. This is car number
24 as shown on the plate right at the beginning of the video, they wil
likely make as many as 100 each year.
Last time Drag Pak cars were built was 1968.
This car will be running the NHRA Full Throttle and Lucas Oil series this
year in Stock Eliminator, look for it on ESPN2 if they show the Stock
Eliminator cars sometime, hopefully we'll get a little love there. We'll
be running along with the likes of Jon Irving, Don Garlits, Jeg Coughlin,
and John Force, as well as several other very successful racers/teams.

Building of Slayer - A 3000GT slideshow
A slideshow of the three years of Saturdays building the 3000GT VR4 Drag
car named "slayer". A lot of the time we forgot to take photos but we
managed to throw together a random selection from the photos we could round
up. We put together this slideshow for fun and to end the 2010 with to
celebrate the three years of work (and fun) creating this car from the

Frank Scorcia's 1963 Pontiac Lemans. 600 cubic inch tall deck aftermarket
block, Molodex crank, Oliver rods, Ross pistons, Edelbrock heads modified
by JBP racing. T&D shaft rockers, Wenzler intake Speed -Pro fuel
Hughes Transmissions 34-3X turbo 400
with custom Hughes converter from APS racing.
RJ Fabrication built 9" rear end with 35 spline axles, spool, 4.11 gears
and Strange Engineering disc brakes.
RJ Fabrication custom tube chassis, headers, 4"Exhaust, sheet metal, suspension, cooling
system, plumbing and wiring.
Car is still under construction and should be completed summer of 2012.
