1969 Ford Fairlane Restoration: Lots of Body Work!
Hi! This video shows how we restored Agent 8771's old, beat-to-death 1969 Ford Fairlane coupe. The car had been hit hard in the rear many years ago, and the frame rails were buckled. This, combined with the major structural rust throughout, made the car virtually unrestoreable. Agent 8771 didn't want to give up on the car however, and didn't want to just buy another similar unit and pretend it was his old car. I decided that we could replace the whole bottom half of the car with a solid, straight chassis from a low-mileage 4 door sedan. When one came along at a low price, we decided to get to work. We saved what we could from his original car, including the seats, doors, roof, parcel shelf, hood, decklid, and glass. We also used his old wheels, grille, bumpers, and even his old Exhaust system with the "Thrush" mufflers that we used to put on our cars! When we were all done, it looked, sounded, and drove like his old high school car! He even took off the power steering and substituted his old manual box so that the car would drive just like it used to. Overall, a really fun project and it makes a great story to tell people you still have your first car, even if much of it has been "donated" by another Fairlane sedan! Anyhow, I hope you enjoy a tour of this project; let me know what you think! Thanks for watching!

1965 Ford Fairlane 500 289 2-door 3-spd Start Up, Exhaust, In Depth Review, and Test Drive
Hello and welcome to Saabkyle04! YouTube's largest collection of automotive variety! In today's video, we will take an up close and personal in depth look at my 1965 Ford Fairlane 500 289. This particular model is known as the 2 door sedan due to the tall roofline and b-pillar, also known as a post car. I purchased this car in February 2011 with the dream of being able to fix up a car, restore it, and bring back to the original factory look. I'm a huge fan of classic cars and always have been. My grandfather "papa" instilled this in me a long time ago, as did my dad when he restored papa's '48 ford 2 door sedan back when I was little. This car is about 90% original and numbers matching with the original 289 cubic inch V8 (4.7L) and the original 3 speed manual on the column. It has an custom dual Exhaust (not sure what kind as it was already on the car when I bought it), not to mention original wheels, chrome, door panels, headliner, etc. I bought many items for this car because I wanted to "option it out" since it was a more "basic" fairlane 500. I will explain EVERY LITTLE detail about the car that you were curious about and probably more than you cared to know hahaha. I basically wanted to make this car look as it did from rolling out of the showroom, I collected original keys, documentation, brochures, an owner's manual and much more! I DO have the original video of this car when I first got it, before I did ANYTHING to it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8SIbQCRt7Qw This video has been more than a year in the making and has taken a couple months to edit and get everything together, a ton of love and pride went into it! I hope everyone enjoys!!!! During this presentation, we will take a 1st person look at what the vehicle is all about beginning with the start up, performance data, fuel economy, the occasional track data, and build quality. Also, I will teach you how to use most of the interior and exterior features in a detailed fashion, that before, you could only get from going to a dealership yourself! Throughout the video, I will highlight key styling and unique differences about the vehicle, any available options, and of course it would not be an enthusiast car video without the good ole engine portion with rev and Exhaust note with interior and exterior perspectives. A thorough tour/review of this car designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle. FOR MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THE CHANNEL SEE BELOW: In this channel you will find in depth reviews/tour of automobiles from all over the world, presented in a more detailed fashion than ever before. Basically, this gives the viewer the chance to view the most detailed 1st person look you can get without going to an actual dealer yourself! Every video is consistent in the way I present so viewers know what to expect in my presentations. I treat every vehicle with the same respect whether a 1960 Chevrolet Impala SS or the 2012 Lamborghini Aventador. I film all types of vehicles from past, present, and future while broadening the knowledge of the automotive enthusiast. You will see everything from vintage, brand new, exotic, mainstream, old, etc. I am very proud of this channel and have built it up from amateur videos years ago to what you see today. I wanted to share my love for the automotive world with the rest of the world. Be sure to explore the massive video variety, have fun and enjoy The Driver's Seat of YouTube! West Coast Customs - Stallone's '55 Ford - Part 6
"Street Customs 2" Ep. 12 - Stallone's '55 Ford Sylvester Stallone's upcoming movie, "The Expendables," pays homage to the big action flicks of the 1980s and `90s, and will even include our own California governor, Arnold Schwarzenegger, in a cameo role. The film is set to feature a 1955 Ford F100 truck, which had to be fully restored for silver screen worthiness. The customization experts at West Coast Customs would be the ones handling the restoration efforts. After calling upon WyoTech students Owen Lubenow, Rusty McClintock, and Matt Myers for assistance, the crew at WCC was able to churn out three fully restored 1955 Ford F100s: two for the movie itself and one for Stallone to keep. The ground-up restorations included metal fabrication work and the installation of a 347-cubic-inch Ford small block from ATK Engines, which reportedly put out 429 horsepower and 411 pound-feet of torque when fitted with an Edelbrock Total Power Package. "The Expendables," written and directed by Stallone, features a full billing of all-star action actors, including Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, and more. The movie will be released on April 23, 2010.

Muscle Car Of The Week Video #56: 1966 Ford Fairlane 427 Lightweight
What happens when you mix a lightweight body with a high-powered 427?   Ford set out to find out with this 1966 Fairlane, and the results were awesome.    This Fairlane does not look like anything special, being completely devoid of racy looking stripes or fancy trim, but the giveaway is the scooped lift-off hood and the discreet 427 badges on the fenders.    This car is boasting lightweight aluminum and fiberglass panels from front to back, and has been assembled without creature comforts inside.   However, it was fitted with the R-Code dual 4-barrel side-oiler 427, a 425 HP race engine for the street.     The R-Code rumbles thanks to the high compression pistons and lumpy cam, and the 4-speed manual box and 3.89 gears help it get out of the hole.    Which is what this car was designed to do, in the form of Super Stock drag racing.   Ford only built 57 of these in 1966, and this one lives among many other unique and low-production factory racers in the Brothers Collection.
