Race one of the St Mary's Trophy for saloon cars raced between 1950 and 1959. Martin Brundle was the highlight of the race for me, moving up from 4th place to challenge for the lead in his Austin A35 (car# 1), before contact with the leader punctured a tyre and ultimately put him out of the race. His efforts were more than appreciated by the crowd though! Tom Kristensen took the victory in his first visit to the Revival (driving an Austin A95 Westminster), after a good race with Patrick Watts (in the Volvo Amazon 122S) was cut short by mechanical failure.

Goodwood Revival meeting 2010 - collision, crash - narrow escape - spectacular driving!

During the Freddy March Memorial Trophy this Jaguar C-type driver had a
'slippery moment'. It looks like the Ferrari 166 MM just barely escapes a
severe crash. Looking closely at the video it seems that the Ferrari
touched the C-type with the left front into the driver door... Remember
these classic racers are worth millions!

Qualifying for the exclusively Ford GT40 race at the 2013 Goodwood Revival
was held under wet conditions that made the 2.4-mile Goodwood Motor Circuit
a decidedly slippery mess. Swedish driver Kenny Brack, winner of the 1999
Indianapolis 500 and the 1998 Indy Racing League Champion, seemingly
shrugged off the track conditions. While his hands are never still for
virtually the entire lap, the 47-year old Brack took command of the
powerful GT40 he shared Red Bull Racing Formula 1 engineer Adrian Newey to
post the second fastest qualifying lap for the Whitsun Trophy. Here's
Kenny's wet-and-wild lap:
