It was a great event! After the break, I decided to drive back to the hotel with a few of the participants. At some points the speeds went up to 230kph/145mph (in my car, others went probably even faster).

BMW M3 E46 Roll-over crash in Nürburgring VLN race
I pull the trusty pocketcam out just as the first few drops of rain fall on Wehrseifen. An E46 driver loses control on the entry to the corner, and ends up rolling all the way around. Race was the VLN #2 of 2012 and this was only the second lap of a four-hour event!

This is the sound of the Exhaust on a 2012 BMW 328i The car has a turbocharged (N20) inline four cylinder engine. The comparison is between K&N high flow air filter verses the sound of the factory paper air filter. Allot of people claim that when you install a K&N high flow air filter that the Exhaust sounds deeper and more throaty but in my experience I couldn't tell much difference. In fact, I would say that if anything the factory filter sounded better, but again not much difference. The most notable difference is the sound of the K&N filter sucking in air.
