This is a soft launch 0-60 for a '09 HHR 5 Speed Manual, with the 2.2L DOHC Ecotec VVT engine, 155HP. It has 29,600 miles on it. It was more like a 8-60 because we were pulling out of a turn, It starts at about 6 seconds and gets to 60 at about 15 seconds. That's 9-9.5 seconds. Not too bad, I guess for 35MPG. No, we were not speeding, the speed limit on that street was 65 MPH.

Chevy HHR Air Filter / Engine Cover Removal and Replacement Ecotec
This video is a small explanation of how to remove and change the air filter, and remove the engine cover on a 2009 Chevrolet HHR with the 2.2 Ecotec engine. I believe it's the same for the 2.4 Ecotec as well. I made this video for those who didn't know how. It's not hard at all, but it's just an awkward placement of the filter and some may not be able to find it or know how to remove the cover. This car has 29,600 miles on it and the filter was original. It didn't look too bad at all, but it was very dusty. Probably needs to be changed.

Installing new exhaust in the HHR
Taking out the stock Exhaust and replacing it with the Borla Catback Exhaust System. It's a 2008 Chevy HHR, 2.2L. I've already put in better spark plugs and an Airaid Air Filter...the upgrades are coming along slowly but surely!!!

Chevy HHR SS Turbo with CGS Exhaust
www.cgsExhaust.com This is a Chevy HHR SS 2.0L turbo with a CGS Exhaust System on it. Just by bolting this system on, it got 14hp to the wheels. The system is very quite on the inside and throaty on the out side.
