Test Driving 1969 Chevrolet Nova SS 396 Four Speed Muscle Car with Burnout
Be sure to check us out on Facebook at: https://www.facebook.com/RamblinAroundTV I thought you'd like a look at this very clean 1969 Chevy Nova SS, so we decided to take it for a spin. This car is powered by a performance built 396 Big-block, topped with Edelbrock aluminum heads, Performer RPM intake, and a 4 BBL Carb. All that power is being sent through a four-speed manual trans and believe me, this thing will really fly. The Cortez silver paint is very slick, the interior looks like new, and it's riding on a set of rally wheels, with BF Goodrich tires. This car is extremely well built and it's ready to go. I hope you find it interesting, thanks for taking a look! Filmed at Fast Lane Classic Cars in St. Charles, MO www.fastlanecars.com The background tracks are: The background music track is Whiskey on the Mississippi by Kevin MacLeod. RARE! 1971 CHEVY NOVA WITH A BUILT 383! WATCH THE 100 FOOT BURNOUT!
Please check out http://mmautoclassics.com for full photos and details on this gorgeous Nova. 1971 CHEVROLET NOVA WITH A MONSTER 383! FULLY RESTORED, TURN KEY, AND BUILT TO TERRIFY YOUR NEIGHBORS! SUPER SLICK PPG BLACK PAINT, 4:10 POSI, POWER DISC BRAKES, COMPLETELY SOLID & RUST FREE! If you would like to purchase this Nova immediately, please call or email. I can add a "Buy It Now" price to the auction or I can send an invoice through Paypal for a deposit. You can name the amount. My goal here is to sell the Nova. You're welcome to call me day or night, Monday through Sunday at 816.308.0351. This Nova was completely tore down and gone through starting in 2007. Today it sits as you see it below. As a mean ground pounding beast that will launch you in to your seat and make any passenger break down bawling. Your kid comes home with a bad report card, tell them its time to take a ride, I'll guarantee they'll think twice about their grades. Body: The body on this Nova was completely tore down and totally redone professionally. It actually was a fairly solid car to begin with but it did need new quarters, fenders, and dash frame. These items were all cut away and replaced with brand new metal which you will see located at the very bottom of this auction. All of the sheet metal through out the Nova (the roof, fenders, quarters, floors, trunk, trunk drops, frame rails, rear sill, cowl, firewall, inner skirts, rockers, pillars, doors) is completely free of rust and bondo. As you will see within the photos, the marker lights were removed which gives it a much meaner and leaner appearance. The Nova also has new Subframe Connectors. The Nova was painted professionally in a black PPG and as you can see, it was meticulously blocked. It is extremely straight and slick. There is only one minor blemish through out the paint which appears to be caused by a rock chip (I believe) on the drivers side quarter. As you will see within the photos, it is hardly noticeable. All of the trim and glass through out the Nova is in good shape with no major pitting or scratches. There is one thing that I will probably do if we end up not selling the Nova and that would be replacing the hood with a Cowl. The hood on it now has some blemishes along the front of it and I personally just do not think that it compliments the Nova that well. The Nova sits on a set of Corvette wheels with 67 Corvette Centers. It has 15x8's on the rear and 15x7's on the front all of which are wrapped in new Hoosier tires. Engine & Mechanical: The 383 within this Nova is phenomonal. It was built to scare and last. It was built on a 350 4 bolt block which consists of a Forge Stroker Crank, GM Bowtie Heads with the big valve, a Comp Cam, and HYD Headers. It has 10:5 compression and as you can hear within the video, it is Earth shattering. The 383 is powered by a new Holley 670 Street Avenger carburetor. The motor has around 1k miles on it and does not leak, smoke, or make any odd noises. It is completely dependable. The 350 turbo Transmission has a 2000 Stall Converter and also has only 1k miles on it since being built. It shifts out smoothly with absolutely no problems. It too does not leak. The 10 bolt posi has 4:10 gears and is also in excellent condition. The power steering setup is in excellent working order on this Nova. It does not squeal or leak any fluid. The Nova steers exceptionally well and has a very tight comfortable feel. It cruises down the road straight with out any issues or hesitation. The front disc brakes on this Nova are also new and are in excellent working order. The Nova does not shake, shimmy, or pull when braking. All of the electrical components through out the Nova are in good working order. The Nova has a brand new set of 2 1/2 inch Exhaust with Summit Mufflers. As you can hear, it sounds absolutely breath taking. Interior: The interior as you will see is mostly all new. The front and rear seat are both in excellent condition. The door panels, carpet, and headliner are all in good condition. The B&M shifter within the Nova is brand new and works perfectly. This Nova has had a tremendous amount of money spent on it. I don't anticipate it being here long due to the fact that we are not asking a whole lot for the Nova. You could probably get the body to where it is today for what we are asking. Please feel free to call me with any questions or concerns you might have. Thanks, Shawn 816.308.0351

74 Chevy Nova Update 100 - FINAL PAINT (Lots of Timelapse video)
100th Episode!!! My Day at the paint booth! Lots of time lapse in this video of every step I took to get the 74 Nova painted. If you are wondering why I taped green tape to my clothes is because I wanted to make sure my clothes do not flap and touch the car while painting. Its tight against my body.

134593 / 1967 Chevrolet Nova
For more information on this vehicle visit http://tinyurl.com/kv4lmt5 Instead of being content with a pre-existing 'genre' or an existing set of muscle car standards, Alex Covington and the team at the Roadster Shop decided to take a whole new approach with this 1967 Chevy Nova. Originally, Covington wanted just a unique looking Nova, but after seeing the direction the Roadster Shop was heading with his ride, he gave them the thumbs up to build a one-of-a-kind Nova. Armed with a belief that true progress in design can only come with taking risks and stepping outside comfort zones, the Roadster Shop set out to build a Nova that was like nothing else that ever came before it. The results are phenomenal, and we aren't the only ones who think so. In 2011, the Innovator received the highly sought after Street Machine of the Year award from Goodguys. The Nova was quickly given the name Innovator based on its build. The Roadster Shop built the Innovator as an example of where the hot rod and the custom industry could possibly head in the coming years. The build started with a '67 Nova body that was in extremely rough shape. The team at the Roadster Shop cut out the floors, and then put the Nova on a rotisserie and had the body media blasted. From there the body received a tremendous amount of work: The top was chopped ¾ of an inch, the fenders were re-profiled, and the main mid-section body line was completely removed and new accent lines were created over each wheel opening. New bumpers were made along with rocker extensions and front and rear diffusers. From there the team incorporated a modern circuit board inspired pattern throughout the entire car and in the paint design. The futuristic circuit board theme starts with a custom grille that captures everyone's attention. The pattern then continues as an accent down the glossy white doors, and up the flat black hood. Lift the hood and you will find a 454 cubic inch Mast Motorsports LS series small block. Based on a GMPP 454 cubic inch LSX, the block was bored to 4.185 inches, the LS7 aluminum cast heads were CNC-ported, and a custom hydraulic roller cam was installed to help the engine create an incredible 700hp at 6,700RPMs and 611lb./ft. of torque at 4,900RPMs. While the body features a lot of rigid angles and hard lines, the interior is much more inviting with smooth rounded surfaces. Open the doors and you'll be greeted by a completely custom one-off interior that is just as unique as the rest of the build. The headliner and floor are illuminated by fiber-optic lighting, and the stitching has been done in such a way to include the circuit board pattern. Two Sparco bucket seats provide a great place to log miles from. In front of the driver are two custom gauges that create a 3-d floating effect by having the numbers printed on the back of the lenses of the tach and speedometer. Between the gauges sits a Bespoke digital readout interface that displays everything from coolant temperature to oil pressure. Throughout the entire car the Innovator lives up to its namesake, it impresses inside and out. This '67 Nova may have had very humble beginnings but today it sits as an award winning ride that is capable of beating you on the ¼ or on the autocross. Don't miss your chance to own this incredible ride. For more information, call, click, or visit http://RKMotorsCharlotte.com for more information on the 2011 Street Machine of the Year.
