a Shelby cobra crashed in france after doing 3 flip on the side and landing upside down and the cobra was at a speed of 260 Km/h
and the pilot and co pilot had some small injuries :)
BUT IT WASN'T THE COBRA PILOT FAULT
and he was racing for charity

On the front straight doing 130mph, something breaks in the frontend. The cobra veers hard right and off track. The car leaves a 6O foot gash in the asphalt as it veered before leaving the track and continued for an additional 500 feet off track to its resting point. I received only minor injuries to my left knee and bruised ribs.

I spot this vicious facroty 5 shelby cobra in Wrentham, MA. the owner was really cool, and as you can see from the video, offered me a ride in his beast of a car! i love the way this V8 gurgles when he starts up, then how it backfires after he accelerates down that straight! Shelby Cobra - Way Too Much Fun!
Go to: http://www.kitcarconnection.com - I spotted my first Shelby Cobra 427 S/C back in the summer of 1979. I knew INSTANTLY that one day I had to have one of these cars. I have now enjoyed mine since 2005 and she is way more fun than I ever would have expected.
The car is a Factory Five Racing MkII Roadster and was hand-built in Calgary, Alberta throughout 2004 and delivered to my driveway January 2005. The car is powered with a 302 crate engine from Western Motorsports in Calgary, Alberta.
I based the *look* of the Cobra replicar on Allen English's car in Portland, Oregon. That car was unfortunately wrecked in a crash in the summer of in 2008. Not too worry, he's okay and now driving a beautiful blue CAV GT40 (aka Ford GT 40 replica).
This video was captured by my son Justin as we cruised around South Surrey and White Rock, BC Canada. It was produced for me as a gift by a good friend Phil Watkins.
