EQUIPMENT Stainless steel bumpers, overriders, four doors without central pillar, horizontal grille, front driving lights, logo chrome hubcaps, heater, defroster, glove box, chrome switch gear, column gear change. EXTERIOR Finished in Portifino Blue this delightful Lancia has been continually garaged throughout its life and is structurally perfect with no rust or corrosion. It has been pampered. All the chrome shines and the bumpers remain damage free. Various modifications have been carried out by the patriotic Italian keeper including; driving lamps, front badge bar, side mirrors and more recently parking sensors! All easily removed. INTERIOR On the request of the owner the interior has been sumptuously appointed in Red Velvet to add a touch of luxury and reflect the owners desire to replicate his exclusive working environment at a top London Hotel. All the original controls and dials remain and function correctly but the environment internally has been modified. This does not detract from the overall character of the car but rather gives it a wonderful personality. ENGINE & TRANSMISSION The four cylinder narrow V 1090cc engine performs faultlessly having been meticulously maintained. Clean, detailed and correct in every manner. The 48bhp engine is a joy to drive with a unique Exhaust burble. The gearbox is a four speed, (three of which are synchromesh) column mounted change. Very slight thrust release bearing noise which has been present for over a decade but a new clutch kit is supplied with the car should the new owner wish to solve. WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES Pressed steel wheels with undamaged and original Lancia chrome hubcaps. Michelin XZX 155 X 14 tyres fitted with decent tread and dressed in white. With two leading brake shoes on the front wheels a surprising amount of safe stopping power is available with little effort from the driver. HISTORY FILE Manufactured in 1963, the final year of Appia production, this little car belonged to Mr Giovanni Cannizzaro before being imported by the current owner Mr Giuseppe Sciabbarrasi in 1973.
