Smokey And The Bandit 6.6 Liter V8 Trans-Am at Supercar Sunday
Oh Boy, does this car bring back so many memories to me. Way back when,
way before any video games, way back when you would sit around the T.V.
just waiting for your favorite shows to come on, and then my Dad and I
would sit and watch T'V and have a great ol' time.
Thanks for Watching

I finally got my stinger volt meter put in and also got my usb cable ran so
I can start using a flash drive to play mp3's instead of cd's, so no more

www.down4sound.com and go to the modified tracks section to find his music.
I highly recommend it!
KNIGHT RIDER CARS
Here's another one for the collection folks. :-) This video was never
intended to be assembled like the way it is. Actually, this is my Kitt
car, and my buddy Joey's Kitt car.
Joey stopped by, I grabbed my camera, we took the cars out and went nuts.
:-) Don't try this stuff on your neighborhood streets kids......we
did....and attracted a law enforcement vehicle. :-) It's all good though,
he got a kick out of the Kitt cars strutting their stuff.
Just another addition to the video collection of the "Oklahoma Knights"
doing what they do best........having fun with their Knight Rider cars.
Peace all....thanks for sharing.
London Banning Classic Cars?
Greg Palkot: The United Kingdom is a land of tradition, and that includes
traditional classic cars.
There are 800,000 of them in the country -- largely well-loved by owners
and the public.
And they are big business. Firms and events dealing in historic cars
generate about $7.5 billion a year and employ 30,000 people nationwide.
But now there are fears these cars will be blocked from the roads of the
UK's capital city, London.

Smokey & The Bandit Trans Am Drag Racing Barona Drag Strip 6-3-2012

strip.smokey and the bandit vs the general lee.
Smokey and the Bandit is a 1977 action comedy film starring Burt Reynolds,
Sally Field, Jackie Gleason, Jerry Reed, Pat McCormick, Paul Williams, and
Mike Henry. It inspired several other trucking films, including two
sequels, Smokey and the Bandit II, and Smokey and the Bandit Part 3.
There were also a series of 1994 television films (Bandit Goes Country,
Bandit Bandit, Beauty and the Bandit, and Bandit's Silver Angel) from
original director/writer Hal Needham loosely based on the earlier version,
with actor Brian Bloom now playing Bandit. The three original films
introduced two generations of the Pontiac Trans Am. The film was the fourth
highest-grossing film of 1977.
Rich Texas wheeler-dealer Big Enos Burdette and his son, Little Enos, are
trying to find a truck driver willing to haul Coors beer to Georgia for
their refreshment. At the time, Coors was only distributed in certain
states west of the Mississippi River, and truck drivers who had taken the
bet previously had been discovered and arrested by "Smokey" (truck driver
and CB slang for highway patrolmen). At a local truck rodeo, the Texans
locate legendary truck driver Bo "Bandit" Darville and offer him US$80,000,
the price of a new truck, to haul 400 cases of Coors beer from Texarkana,
Texas to the "Southern Classic" in Georgia -- in 28 hours, driving a total
of 1,800 mi (2,900 km) (This was an artistic liberty, as Texarkana, Texas,
is located in a dry county and Coors was not legally sold there, and the
trip is actually only 1260 miles.)
Bandit accepts the bet and recruits fellow truck driver Cledus "Snowman"
Snow to drive the truck; Snow brings along his dog, a Basset Hound named
"Fred", for company. After requesting an advance from the Burdettes for a
"speedy car", Bandit purchases a black Pontiac Trans Am, which he will
drive himself as a "blocker" car to deflect attention away from the truck
and its cargo. The duo reach Texas ahead of schedule, load their truck with
Coors, and immediately head back towards Georgia. Shortly thereafter,
Bandit picks up professional dancer and apparent runaway bride Carrie, whom
he nicknames "Frog" because (in her anxiety) she was "always hopping
around". However, by picking up Carrie, Bandit becomes the target of Texas
Sheriff Buford T. Justice, "a respectable law officer of over thirty years
seniority", whose handsome yet very simple-minded son Junior was to have
been Carrie's groom.
The remainder of the film is essentially one big high-speed chase, as
Bandit and Frog attract continuous attention from local and state police
77 Plantinum Bandit @ The Dyno!
Here is a quick upload of the Dyno session we did with the
Platinum Bandit just after the TA Nats this year.
The Platinum Bandit, is an original 77 SE 4spd TA, that we converted over
to a lot of modern technology to make it a fun road ready car with a lot of
power. The 474 stroked engine we recently built for it with the help of
Butler Performance, will be featured in the next issue of High Performance
Pontiac Magazine. Pushing 585HP off of 89 Ethanol fuel, with plenty of
vacuum and drive-ability, really makes this car come alive! I will be
posting a video of all the updated components and their manufacturers soon.
