As well as alloy wheel refurbishment we are able to carry out powdercoating and wet painting on many other objects. These range from motorbike frames and motorbike wheels to rocker covers and callipers. In fact we can coat anything metal that will withstand the curing temp and fit in the curing oven. Rest assured we only use high quality, high flow powders which are the most expensive but the best.

Spray painting rims
Have you ever wanted to try spray painting your rims? Me too. Here is a time lapse video of me spray painting silver rims into white. Washing-Sanding-Priming-Painting-Clear Coating and done. i stopped the camera after final prime, and final paint so that's why it goes straight into paint/clear coat in the initial phases. Total time taken... probably around 5-6 hours. Hopefully it lasts.
Materials used:
1 400grit 3M wetordry sandpaper
1 can dupicolor sandable primer white
2 cans dupicolor engine paint white
1 can Dupicolor Clear Coat

Refinishing beat-up alloy wheels
Last week I bought a beat-up set of wheels to use for snow tires for my 1995 Subaru Legacy.
They had been curbed pretty badly and the clear coat had peeled. In this video, I strip off the bad clearcoat, clean up the wheels, and then prime and paint them.
The final result isn't perfect, but for a total investment of around $50, which includes the wheels and materials, I'm very happy.

Something I probably should of noted in the video is that before you paint, clean the area with methalated spirts and wipe with a microfibre cloth to ensure that theres no contaminants on the surface before painting

How to Paint Stock Wheels Black

In this video I'll show you how to paint the wheels of you car in virtually any color you like. Also skip step 6 if you want a flat black look.
IMPORTANT: Paint cannot take any kind of damage or else the paint will chip off. So when you are removing the wheel (future tire rotation) make sure you are careful.
Price tag 30-40 depending on prices of local stores

White primer 2 cans
Black engine paint 2 cans
clear coat 2 cans
index cards
sandpaper 320 grid

Hey guys this is a little (crammed) 10 minute tutorial on how to paint your own rims AT HOME on your own. I've already did this once to my car a year ago but I grinded on a few curbs since then so I'm repainting them this year.
YOU WILL NEED:
- Duplicolor Paint (for rims only)
- Duplicolor Prep wipe
- Masking Tape
- Lots of news papers
- Car Soap
- A Jack
- Optional: A spare
- (for me) 5 hours
The Duplicolor paint can be found at any autozone store for JUST $5 BUCKS! You can read more about it and watch their own tutorial here:

The Basics in the nutshell:
- Remove wheels
- Clean wheels hardcore
- Wipe dry with paper towel
- (optional) sun dry
- Mask off area
- Wipe with duplicolor prepwipe
- Paint color then clear
- Dry to touch in 1 hour
- Drivable in 24 hours
