1970 Maverick Grabber
This is my friend Roger's 1970 Maverick Grabber that his Grandmother
origially bought new. She was the only owner of this car and it still has
the original interior, paint and dealer installed a/c. Originally had the
straight 6 but now has a Stroked 347.
My 1970 Maverick
This was my 351W powered Maverick.Stock bottom end, cast heads W/home port
job, small solid cam, 8" convertor, C4 and 3.89 gears.I was very proud of
it, should have kept it!!!
Need to add I got my old car back a year later.I let it sit 6 or 7 months
and finally built a 347 for it 10-1 compression budget aluminum heads ,
Parker intake and demon 750.
Best so far is constant 11.70-11.72 but we marked the slicks and they are
spinning on the whee(60ft 1.65-1.70 should be 1.54-1.55 like it was, when I
add screws).Still haven't put the screws in to fix the problem. (Haven't
ran it since 2010)

New mods are in course like a Nitrous
line, an 45% auto-lock street-useable diff and a carbon steel roll cage.
