Part one of HPIv4 is another wild street drag meeting sponsored by HKS at Central Circuit. Every kind of tuned Japanese car is represented and of course, there are plenty of Skyline GT-Rs. The High Performance Imports DVD series was produced by Ben Ellis, first at Express Publications and later at Otomoto. This fourth edition was originally released on VHS in 2003, then re-released on DVD the same year. At the time English-language videos about the Japanese tuning scene were very scarce, but drag racing and drifting were approaching their peak. A lot of the JDM trends you see today actually started around this time. The original DVD is still available from www.otomoto.com.au
