Bugatti Veyron Fail vs GTR / GT-R Drag Video - Launch Control Issue / Fail - 1st run - Road Test TV
http://www.RoadTestTV.com/ Its our understanding that this is the First IHRA Sanctioned drag strip run with Bugatti Veyron vs GTR. On this run Bugatti Veyron driver encounters a minor launch control issue. The GT-R driver shuts it down at half track.n On the second run, the Bugatti driver resolves the issue and beats the GTR without issue. Credit to the Bugatti owner for driving a more than 1 million dollar car at the drag strip.

**BEST 11.61 @ 121mph, 1.69 60ft all at 3800lbs!!! Had the mph for a bottom eleven and still didnt have all the bugs worked out. Didnt get to turn the wick up to much, only ended up shifting at 7200, though the motor makes peak power at 7600, so there is much more left in it. NEW COMBO : all new 427, G-Force GF4A 4 speed, etc.

The GTR runs 9.6 @ 143 mph and unfortunately Eddie Bello's Porsche 911 turbo has mechanical issues and does not complete the pass.

Switzer R900 GTR at the Kennedy Space Center
We hope you enjoy this video taken at the Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, FL. We had a chance to support our Palm Beach, FL dealer Serious Autosport as they ran their R900 GTR on the runway as witnessed by the International Mile Racing Association. The weather was easily 100F with almost 100% humidity, not the best conditions for a mile run, however the R900 prevailed and set an IMRA mile record for the GTR at 200.709mph, and it did it numerous times in those grueling conditions on back to back runs.
