67 Nova LS1 - FTI Streetsweeper HT cam, Spintechs, and Retrofuel Tank
67 Nova with a 2001 LS1. Streetsweeper HT cam from Flowtech Induction (FTI - Ed Curtis) 228/232 614/600 111LSA- Ed Curtis / FTI valve job on 799 heads. LS7 lifters, LS2 trays, Comp Cams pushrods, Comp Cams trunion kit, Diamond flat top pistons with valve reliefs, Scat forged rods. Bottom end built by Billy Briggs of Motor City Speed. 85mm MAF, p/p throttle body, Church Boys Racing 1 3/4" primary headers, Summit 3 inch X pipe, 3 inch into Spintech Sportmans, 2.5" out and over the axle. Finish Line Transmission Stage 4 4L60e with FTI 3600 stall converter. 3.73 gears in DTS 8.5" 10 bolt. 2010 Camaro Fuel pump in a Retrofuel Nova tank. Pump is being run by a Fuel On Demand fuel pump controller from Professional Products. This video only shows the bench tune that Rich at Motor City Speed did for me. I think he did an awesome job. Need to get it to their Dyno for a final tune.
1967 Nova Street Rod
A 1967 Nova Street Rod built by Greening Auto Company..I was able to catch up with this beautiful Hot Rod while attending a party at Advanced Plating during the Good Guys Nashville 2013...You would think this car is a trailer queen...but the end of the videos proves different...very cool car....check it out!!!...Make sure you follow me so that you don't miss any of the other cool videos I shot at this show! 1966 Nova SS - 8 second street car
Back half pro street car from upstate NY. Best ET = 8.68 @ 156 1/4 mi. / 5.55 @ 126 1/8 mi. Zero to 60 MPH in less than 2.5 seconds. Approximately 950 flywheel horsepower through the mufflers. Mickey Thompson 13 x 31 ET Street Tires. Dynomax 3" welded race mufflers. 434 small block by Chris Yates. TH400 full manual trans w/ ATI 9" converter. Dana 60 w/ 4.10 gears and ladder bars. Street driven. (Plates removed to protect the guilty!)
