Datsun 120Y, Canberra SDMA Hillclimb.
Racing the 120Y in the 2009 Canberra SDMA Hillclimb Series, at Fairbairn Park. By the end of the year i won my class, and came 2nd outright. During one race meet, I mounted some cameras and filmed a few of the runs. Class: Type 4 (extensively modified) upto 1600cc Best laptime: 52.70sec Car: 1975 Datsun 120Y Running a worked A15 with twin SU Carbs. 71 rwkw. 550kg rolling weight. 1/4 mile time of 15sec. Its setup more for dirt rally, rather then circuit or drag. Extractors hooked up to a 2.25 inch out-the-side Exhaust. Custom front and rear suspension. Locked rear diff. Stripped interior. Tires are Bridgestone Potenza RE55's. Its not much but its a lot fun :D
