This video was a recap for Subaru Sales Associates and affiliates that participated in a driving event pitting Subaru against its core competition. These tests were repeated thousands of times, with the the Sales Associates experiencing each event for themselves. This was NOT meant for public consumption and is therefore not a propaganda video. This video was a review for those people who experienced this driving event themselves. All vehicles were stock, had stability and traction control enabled if equipped, and were operated using the manufacturer's recommended tire pressures. While this video depicts individual instances, these tests were performed thousands of timeswith thousands of participants over a period of two months. The intended audience of this video experienced first hand the documented results.

2011 Toyota RAV4 vs Subaru Forester muddy mashup review
( http://www.TFLcar.com ) The 2011 Toyota RAV4 and the 2011 Subaru Forester
2.5XT turbo both cost about 30K , both
can seat five people and both can go off-road with their very capable all
wheel drive set up. But which one of these two competing new crossover's is
the better buy? That's the question we try to answer in this off-road
4WD, AWD, SUVs, trucks wrecking on ice compilation: no vehicle is immune to icy roads!
(No one was hurt in any of the accidents shown). I'm Dan Robinson, a storm
chaser and cameraman. I've been traveling around the USA documenting and
researching icy roads since 2004, and I have witnessed - and captured on
camera - many accidents involving SUVs, trucks, semis, all-wheel drive
vehicles, 4WD vehicles, vehicles with traction control and winter tires.
No driver or vehicle can safely go highway speeds on icy roads! If you
don't believe me, watch this video and decide for yourself! My hope is
that you will learn from the mistakes of these drivers and SLOW DOWN to a
safe speed the next time you drive on an icy road (or better yet, wait for
the threat to pass). I recommend speeds LESS than 45mph on highways when
snow covers a road, less than 35mph off of highways and on highway curves,
hills, ramps and in heavy traffic. Speeds above 45mph on icy roads are NOT
SAFE for ANY vehicle. Stay off of any steep hills when roads are icy.
For freezing rain, no speeds are safe! Icy roads kill more people in the
USA than all other forms of severe weather COMBINED. Learn more at
