Audi A7 review - CarBuyer

Audi A7 2014 review: http://bit.ly/1aWHCKH Subscribe to the Carbuyer YouTube channel: http://bit.ly/17k4fct Subscribe to Auto Express: http://subscribe.autoexpress.co.uk/cb Like the idea of a large executive car, but can't quite see yourself behind the wheel of a large, heavy saloon? Then the Audi A7 is for you, it's Audi's answer to cars like the Mercedes CLS and BMW 5-Series GT, both of which are subtly different to the A7 in terms of concept. Practicality is good, with a 535 litre boot, and the car is comfortable and relaxing to drive.

Audi A8 saloon review - CarBuyer
Audi A8 saloon 2014 review: http://bit.ly/1gAKVwl Subscribe to the Carbuyer YouTube channel: http://bit.ly/17k4fct Subscribe to Auto Express: http://subscribe.autoexpress.co.uk/cb It doesn't matter if you're looking for a car to drive, or to be driven in, the A8 is thoroughly impressive in both areas. It packs a host of clever technology to make the driving experience as seamless as possible, including lights that are connected to the sat-nav and will illuminate junctions, bend round corners and even dip when they sense oncoming traffic. A system called Audi Drive Select also features, and allows drivers to tweak the steering, suspension and gearbox to make the car more sporty or more comfortable. The cabin itself is finished in high-grade materials and is very logically laid out. Customers looking for a bit more space to stretch out in the rear can opt for the long wheelbase version. 2014 Audi A7 TDI Test Drive & Diesel Car Video Review
http://www.autobytel.com/audi/a7/2014/?id=32972 New for 2014 is a diesel powered A7. The Audi A7 is a big, beautiful, spacious sports sedan with an ACE in the hole; that being the wonderful fuel economy. The TDI power plant can manage 24 MPG in the city and 38 MPG on the highway. That might not sound like a lot, but consider this is a full-sized luxury car getting the same fuel economy as a tiny compact. The price for the A7 TDI is $66,900. The Audi A7 is drop dead gorgeous thanks to the sleek hatchback design. But the car is not just good to look at; the A7 excels in virtually every other aspect. Under the hood is a 3.0 liter turbocharged V-6 diesel engine that makes 240 horsepower and 428 lb-ft. of torque. Believe it or not the TDI model only weighs 66 lbs. more than the regular gas model. Inside the Audi A7 the interior is beautiful. The most important thing about a luxury car's interior is the ability to make the owner feel important like they have arrived; and the A7 does just that. Driving the diesel is different. It takes a few seconds for the turbo to build power. The driving experience is pure bliss. This is a proper sports sedan with an ACE in the hole. That would be the great fuel economy. See More Car Videos http://www.autobytel.com/car-videos/?id=32972 Join Our Facebook Page http://www.facebook.com/autobytel

Maybach 62 Test Drive (And Ride!) with Chris Moran
http://www.SupercarNetwork.com An in-depth review of the 2005 Maybach 62 with Chris Moran Maybach was one of the world's most exquisite nameplates in the 1920s and '30s. The original company was founded by Karl Maybach — the son of Wilhelm Maybach, who developed the first Mercedes. Some people were surprised when Maybachs returned in the form of two closely related, all-new ultraluxury sedans. Each posh sedan is filled with nearly every sort of comfort and convenience feature offered in a motorcar. Ostensibly a product of DaimlerChrysler, Mercedes-Benz's parent company, the modern-day Maybach is actually considered a make of its own. Maybachs come in two sizes: the regular Type 57 and the extended-length Type 62. Each model designation indicates the car's length in meters: 5.73 for the Type 57 and 6.17 for the Type 62. Special features include electronic braking and an Airmatic Dual Control air suspension. A rearview parking-assist camera is available in the 2005 model. Standard equipment now includes Robbe & Berking beverage flutes and a handcrafted Dunhill Collection umbrella. Standard Sirius Satellite Radio includes a lifetime subscription. Only one or two Maybachs per day are built at a state-of-the-art facility in Germany. Mercedes-Benz dealers must sign separate agreements to sell them. Exterior According to the manufacturer, Maybach styling balances classic and avant-garde features. The doors, hood and fenders are made of aluminum. Maybach says a primary goal was to deliver an "entirely new definition of first class." Twelve body colors are available, and two-tone paint schemes may be specified. Bi-xenon headlights are standard. The regular-size Type 57 is 225.3 inches long overall, uses a 133.5-inch wheelbase and rides on 19-inch tires. A standard power-closing feature pulls the door shut from the first detent position. Interior As many as 100 items inside the Maybach are trimmed with exotic woods. Buyers can mix options with the immense standard-equipment list in numerous combinations. Available accessories include a luggage set, a sterling silver champagne goblet, a humidor, a golf bag and a fluffy travel rug. Buyers may choose from six Grand Nappa leather colors and three types of wood. All four standard seats are heated, and active seat ventilation is available. Occupants can luxuriate in reclining rear seats. A television with a 9.5-inch TFT flat screen includes a DVD player. Interior features also include four-zone climate control with two air-conditioning units, a refrigerated compartment, a cordless phone with two handsets and a 21-speaker Bose Dolby sound system. Each sedan also has the Tele Aid emergency communication system and the Comand integrated control system, which are available for Mercedes-Benz vehicles. Under the Hood Breathing with the assistance of twin turbochargers, the 5.5-liter V-12 produces 550 horsepower and 663 pounds-feet of torque. It teams with a five-speed-automatic transmission. Maybach claims the Type 57 can accelerate from zero to 60 mph in 5.2 seconds. Safety Ten airbags, including two adaptive front airbags, four side-impact airbags, and front and rear side curtain-type airbags, are installed.

Audi A5 Sportback (hatchback) review - CarBuyer
Audi A5 Sportback 2014 review: http://bit.ly/1ef6CzI Subscribe to the Carbuyer YouTube channel: http://bit.ly/17k4fct Subscribe to Auto Express: http://subscribe.autoexpress.co.uk/cb The Sportback is the most practical member of Audi's stylish and upmarket A5 family. It joins the A5 Coupé and Cabriolet editions, but adds the practical appeal of four-doors and a spacious boot, accessed through a large hatchback. Audi claims the A5 Sportback has no direct rivals, yet both new BMW 3 Series and the Mercedes-Benz C-Class come close. And while there is much to recommend the A5's beautiful design and roomy cabin, you might not like the firm ride, and the Sportback is not the best A5 to drive. Audi R8 coupe 2013 review - CarBuyer
Audi R8 2014 full review: http://bit.ly/zeREJZ Subscribe to the Carbuyer YouTube channel: http://bit.ly/17k4fct Subscribe to Auto Express: http://subscribe.autoexpress.co.uk/cb Audi shocked the industry when it introduced its stunning R8 supercar in 2006. It was the German company's first demonstration of how it could compete with the established supercar giants with only a little help from Lamborghini -- a sub-brand of the VW Group. As a result, the Audi R8 shares some DNA with the Lamborghini Gallardo, but is far cheaper to buy and easier to drive, without losing any sense of occasion or its head turning looks. A supercar that you really can use everyday, the R8 may not be particularly practical, but it's genuinely comfortable and comes keenly priced if you avoid the extensive options list. That said, a host of updates at the start of 2013 improved equipment, with all cars getting LED headlights, sat-nav and heated leather seats as standard. There is a choice of V8 and V10, with a faster V10 Plus model for those craving a little more power and an even sportier drive. Mat: When Audi introduced the R8 in 2008 they proved to the world they could make a supercar that can compete with the Ferrari and Lamborghini. Yet because it's an Audi it's almost as easy to live with as an A3! But now to keep the R8 feeling fresh Audi has just updated it with some design tweaks. There's restyled nose with all LED lamps while the back features new Exhaust surrounds and the coolest indicators in the world. Audi has also added a new model to the range. It's called the V10 Plus and gets a more aggressive chassis set up, a 25bhp power upgrade over the normal V10, ceramic brakes and plenty of carbon fiber. It even has more carbon fiber inside such has here on the dash and gets bucket seats as standard. However, Audi has upped the equipment list on the other models too. The normal V10 now gets extended leather while all versions now come with sat-nav, iPod connectivity, heated seats and mobile phone preparation standard. The R8 has the classic mid-engined super car set up. You can go for a 4.2-litre V8 version with 424hp, which can 0-62mph in around four and a half seconds. But while that's easily fast enough you don't want that one because that engine is also available in an A4 Estate car. What you want is the V10 because not only does it have over 500bhp the engine comes from a Lamborghini Gallardo and it makes the R8 not only feel and sound like a true supercar. If there was one problem with the old R8 it was that it's auto box was a bit rubbish. But I have some good news. Audi has given the R8 a new dual clutch seven speed automatic gearbox which is brilliant. It's so good I'd recommend it over the manual. In auto mode it's smooth enough for pottering round town and if you want to change gears yourself using the paddles the car will swap cogs faster than you can blink. There's another benefit to the automatic model. It includes launch control and when engaged the 543bhp V10 Plus can sprint from 0-62mph in just 3.5 seconds. Okay to operate it I put my foot on the brake, select sport mode for the gearbox and the stability control, floor the throttle then release the brake.... And that's 60 I better back off, I don't want to brake the law. We don't do that here at CarBuyer. To be fair it's quite easy to find yourself above the speed limit in the R8 is so easy to drive fast. The all wheel drive system provides oodles of grip, the steering is sharp and unless you have a spirit level you won't notice any lean through corners. This is a super car which will flatter the novice with it's balance and stability yet it's capability and rear-drive bias means it will entertain the expert too. On top of all this the R8 is very comfy for a supercar, especially if you go for the magnetic ride adaptable suspension which is standard on the V10. Unfortunately this V10 plus doesn't have them. Instead it gets bespoke lowered stiffer fixed spring suspension. And while this, revised steering and the carbon ceramic brakes make it even better to drive on track they don't make it better to drive on the road, which if you are honest is where you'll be driving your R8 most of the time.... As for other problems, the cabin may be well built, however the design is starting to look a little dated, especially the infotainment system which doesn't even come with digital radio. And seeing as this is a CarBuyer review we need to talk about practicality. Yes it's supercar so it's never going to be very good but R8's meagre storage makes even a Porsche 911 seem like family friendly transport. Finally there's the high running costs and the price, but actually compared to other supercars this Audi is incredible value. And really there are few cars even at twice the price, which can turn heads like the R8 especially this V10 Plus in matte blue paint. Job done.

Mercedes M-Class SUV review - CarBuyer
Mercedes M-Class SUV 2014 review: http://bit.ly/19X3Fod Subscribe to the Carbuyer YouTube channel: http://bit.ly/17k4fct Subscribe to Auto Express: http://subscribe.autoexpress.co.uk/cb The latest generation of the Mercedes M-Class was introduced in late 2011 as Mercedes lifted its game against rivals that have emerged in the decade since it spawned this segment: the Audi Q7, Porsche Cayenne and BMW X5. The M-Class is nearly four-metres long and has a massive load area, regardless of which of model you choose. The ML 250 starts the range with a 202bhp 2.1-litre four-cylinder turbodiesel, then there's the volume-selling ML 350 with its 255bhp V6 turbodiesel. If it's power you're after rather than efficiency, there's the ML 63 AMG complete with 518bhp 5.5-litre twin turbo V8 -- the most powerful Mercedes 4x4 ever sold. All offer luxurious equipment levels, fit and finish as well as an imposing road presence.
