Calder Park V8s - March 12th
A large variety of V8s from Calder Park test and tune drags. Includes Steve
Athans twin turboMustang running a 7.99/184 and
Billy's twin turbo big block Mustang pedalling an 8.35 beofre an
oil line caused a fire mid run. Frank Marchese's FAIRXW Falcon ran a PB of
9.22 at 147mph. Leanne Braggs' Mazda RX454 ran mid eights.
Australia's quickest Supra
Kristain Kalaitzakis's Quickbitz Supra has run a new personal best pass at
Calder Park. The car is powered by a 3.0L 2JZ engine (no Nitrous), Haltech E98 ethanol fuel system, Garrett
GT55 turbo through a Powerglide 2-speed
transmission. This now makes the Toyota the third quickest Pro Street Blown
APSA legal car in Victoria.
Pro-Tek Supra - 8.41 at 162mph
Calder Park Friday night test and tune the Pro-Tek Automotive Supra ran a
P.B of 8.41 at 162mph straight off the trailer. The car features a new
Garrett GT47 turbo upgrade.

After a long hiatus from the drag strip, David McLeish returned to last
night's Breast Cancer awareness Test N Tune with phase 2 of his 2JZ powered
Toyota Supra. The car now runs a Garrett GTX45 with methanol fuel, power
put to the ground through a Powerglide transmission and ET Street tyres,
and all controlled by a Microtech LTX12 with turbowerx tune.
As it was the first time out, the team were required to license the car by
Andra, which meant the standard burnout, half track pass, and then a full
track pass with the parachutes deployed. Everything went successful and
David now is licensed in the car, coming home with a new PB also of 9.00 @
158 on very low Boost (28 pound).
You can be sure that they will be out again and this car will go much
supra backfire and burnout compilation

The lock is a long thin rectangular plastic that is bent at the top. I made
the top of the lock round, so it's easily slipped into the door's tiny
rectangular hole. The door lock is glued onto the body.

'SPOT ON' 8.74 @ 163 MPH - 2JZ HOLDEN COMMODORE VL - TEST DAY 21/08/2013
Danny and the boys from Spot On Performance & Fabrications were out testing
with their 2JZ Holden Commodore wagon. The car runs a 2 speed Powerglide
transmission with a shot of NOS to help get the Garret GT47 up on Boost quicker, all controlled by a Microtech
LT16c ecu and a 9 inch differential keeps everything in check in the rear.
The car ran consistent all day bagging over nine 8 second passes with a
best of 8.74 @ 163 mph.
Last night this car ran a pb 8.6 with the guys telling us that there is
plenty to come when they can get the car off the line better.
