Burnouts open headers on the street
I am the announcer at Kansas City International Raceway.KCIR. This video was taken June 3rd. 2006 on a very busy 4 lane road that was just resurfaced and repainted, i think they did it just for me and a couple of hundred of my friends.It was called an open header cruise, where cars would cruise to Fuddruckers about 5 miles from the dragstrip. Then with the help of some friends we shut down the road for about 20 minutes until the police showed up.

This is Amanda's second time driving a manual transmission vehicle. She drove the Camaro the day before this video for a few minutes as well. She has been driving automatic transmission cars for just over a year.
And for all you guys saying "Where's the burnout", she chirps them into second gear - watch for it.

**BEST 11.61 @ 121mph, 1.69 60ft all at 3800lbs!!! Had the mph for a bottom eleven and still didnt have all the bugs worked out. Didnt get to turn the wick up to much, only ended up shifting at 7200, though the motor makes peak power at 7600, so there is much more left in it. NEW COMBO : all new 427, G-Force GF4A 4 speed, etc.

Its Alive
Over the winter of 2007/2008, Big Red Ram was torn down and rebuilt. The three year old 540 came out in favor of a pretty radical 580CI. The transmission was freshen -- and the clutch was just redone prior to the last race of last season. A new rear chunk, spool, and gears were bought and set up, and the old one put in the trailer as a spare. Actually there's a new transmission and shifter on order -- but it isn't in yet. We'll swap that in and and make some bigger headers mid season.
This is the video of the motor getting fired up after put in the car. Tomorrow, some loose ends will get finished and the car put on the ground to get aligned and the wheelie bars installed. The day after we'll take it to the track.
