if i was on flat land it would have been faster.
300+ HP Subaru Loyale Wagon
A 1990 Subaru Loyale wagon with a tuned up EJ255 from a 2007 WRX. Drivetrain sourced from a Subaru XT.
The bad part is that this engine was only in the car temporarily. It was soon installed into a much newer Subaru, which means no more videos. I really wish I had been able to get more footage!
This car belonged to my Subaru enthusiast buddy, I film many different vehicles as well as my own.

Hillclimbing in a subaru loyale!
This hill was a lot steeper than it looks on video! Plus the car has 272k miles on it and a blown head gasket! Still going strong though...
[HD] 1990 Subaru Loyale -- My Second Car
So basically this is a walkaround and overview of my new car, a red 1990 Subaru Loyale wagon. My old car, the 1981 Subaru GL wagon, died from a cracked block or head and was towed away on Easter, 2012. A week after, I picked this up. When I bought it, it had three main problems. The first was the battery was dead from sitting for a couple months. Fixed this because I had a new battery installed in my old car a couple months before it died, and I just transferred it over. The second problem was the tires would go flat within a day or two. Fixed this by buying a set of four wheels/tires off the Ultimate Subaru Message Board for $30, swapped them out, and sold my set for $20 on the message board. The third and final problem is the passenger axle. Both the inner and outer boots are torn, and the actual axle is bad. Went to the Pick-N-Pull to get an axle, but I didn't have the right tools. Instead, I got two new headlights (the originals were yellowed and not bright), a new clock, two speakers, a bunch of fuses, and a couple headlight bulbs. This car is better than my old one because it's go 90 horsepower (versus 73), runs better, has five gears, and is fuel injected. It's also got a softer suspension for a better ride. Still has on-demand 4WD, so that's useful. It's just overall a better car. I'm glad I got it. Be looking forward to dashcam videos!!
1993 Subaru Loyale story
This is my first car. My baby.
I took her in for a routine timing belt change. They put it on wrong. Failed to turn the camshaft 180 degrees after installing the first of two belts. I waited 4 weeks for this process, then was told that my engine was busted (low compression in three cylinders) It would cost over a grand to fix, but they were willing to "take a look and see what they could do"
I lost my ability to drive, resulting in loss of my catering abilities and loss of a job. I was set back potential thousands of what could of been hard earned dollars. I had no other choice but to set her up until I could afford the proper work that needed to be done. Little did I know that all that needed to be done was putting the timing belt on proper. My parent's next door neighbor heard the story and had it done in two hours! She runs perfect.
We took this to the highest power of CT customer satisfaction, and the 4 month battle to get our money back resulted in complete disregard for what they had failed to do. They chose not to refund my money so this is my response.
This is not the only story. This is My story. I have heard many of which other's beloved cars have either been falsely "fixed" or not fixed at all.
I want to hear your stories. I want to hear everyone of them! Please. If you have a story relating to this, or have ever been jipped by our Huge "trusted" national garage, I want to hear it.
Video responses are preferred.
Thankyou
This video was recorded and edited by my father. All work done to the car, and present in the video is our neighbor Nathan. Thanks to them. My subie is running perfectly again.
Subaru - Quick & Dirty
Quick as in I threw this together fast and without much thought. A compilation of short videos I made of my original '84 Subaru GL 4x4. It was ugly, rusty, and loud, but I had a lot of fun with it.
My '91 Subaru Loyale
This is a walk around I did showing everyone all aspects of the car. Sorry the audio is a little distorted, but it is very bassy. I wish you could play the bass a good on video as if you were standing next to it, For those wondering, I'm running a JVC head unit, two(2) 6.5" Pioneer speakers, four(4) dome tweeters(conveniently placed in each corner for surround sound), 1000w Alpine amplifier, 500k farrad Scosche capacitor, and two(2) 12" Kicker Comp VR subwoofers. Please enjoy and please comment. Share if you want. Peace.
