FROM NRE: A 1973 Camaro which we've caged, minitubbed, completely stripped to bare metal and powder coated the entire car. The motor is a 406 twin turbo making 1540 hp and 1527 lbs of torque. We are going to prove to everyone you can "have your cake and eat it to." We are going to drive the car 300 miles a day, stopping at a race track everyday, for 5 days. 1500 miles and 5 race days in 5 days, with no support vehicle. Sounds pretty crazy? Did we mention we are planning on running in 8 second quarter miles? Our goal is to illustrate that you can own a car that smooth running, mellow-idling, easy-driving, pump-gas cruiser - and still make 1500hp, 8 second passes. We call it the "F-bomb" becuase when it arrived at NRE, it looked like a Scud hit it.

This is an unusual NRE Dyno room visit. First, this beast broke the Dyno again. Second, this engine is one of the meanist engines Tom has ever designed.
