FOR SALE 2014, recorded August 2010, still looks just the same. Rust free
1973 Chrysler New Yorker Brougham. $8,995.oo.
I didn't have time to say that Mr & Mrs Poetz, the original owners of the
car, first owned a 1936 Plymouth, then a 1950 Plymouth, a 1959 DeSoto, and
finally the 1973 Chrysler. They worked their way up the Chrysler
Corporation ladder of makes and models, just as Walter Percy Chrysler had
Lastly, given that I despise religion, I couldn't care less if you dislike
my audio comment about churchgoing being a waste of time. Imaginary
friends are a waste of time - enough said.
1969 Chrysler New Yorker Commercial "Your Next Car" Steve Karmen's "Moments" David Wayne Voice
In 1969 Chrysler's Chrysler Division introduced a totally new car from
bumper to bumper, not only was this car new to Chrysler but there was no
other car like it on the road style wise. It would become known as the
Fuselage look. It was a big improvement over Chrysler's conservative three
box style design from 1965 thru 1968. They were bigger and wider and
heavier but had a fresh new look. The music is officially known as
"Moments" produced by the jingle-king Steve Karmen who was also
responsible for the 70's "I Love NY" campaign. Actor David Wayne provides
the Voice Over.

1965 Chrysler New Yorker 440 Cold Start
Here's a cold start with the Waldron dual Exhaust I installed this Summer. They gaurantee
fit and it went on nicely. The kit is listed for a '65 300, but after
poking around I determined the NYer has pretty much the identical C Body
and was provisioned for duals. I opted for the 'Imposter' factory
replacement mufflers which have a noticeably loader note. My cinematography
blows but I hop you like the vid anyway. And yes, it is a factory 440. One
of the early ones pulled ahead from the '66 model year....

Cold Start the 1972 Chrysler Newport: What's Your Carbon Footprint?
Hi! Time to put the 1972 Chrysler Newport Royal 4 door hardtop into storage
before it gets completely buried. First we gotta get it started. These
babies will leave a big black soot mark wherever you start them, until the
choke heats up and pulls off. I love this car, it drives really well, and
it has been very reliable on long highway trips. I bought this car 10 years
ago to save it from the derby and replaced the front subframe due to rust.
A well maintained car, only two previous owners, mostly original in & out.
Thanks for checking it out.

In case anyone is curious, yes, I've owned tons of Mopar products! There
is a SRT4 in my driveway right now. I've had Coronet R/T's, Challenger RT,
Demon's, 300's, SRT8's, I love em all! And I have no problem with other
cool Musclecars. I even own a Buick with a V6 that is fairly
quick......However....I loves me Mother Mopar!
I'm back in the old school! I have a "NEW" 70 Coronet R/T! Burnt
Orange/White interior numbers matching, bla bla bla bla!!! Will post pics
of it in my new Mopar song. Yeah, I'm doing another one, yeah I'm corny!
Actually 2 tunes. One, I penned back in the mid 80's called Red Light. It
was about my 69 R/T.
