This is a 1966 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia I recently did the finish body work and paint on. The sheetmetal replacement was performed by Kelly "Metwiz" Brown. Color is Porsche Guards Red. The car is going back to the owner for re-assembly. Music by The Wind-Ups.

DEUTZ V12 DIESEL MODEL A12L614 YEAR 1954
Here is a running example of the very first V12 model DEUTZ made, dating back to 1954. They only made this A12L614 model for 6 years. It is 16 litres in capacity and air cooled. The design dates back to before WW2 but their construction could not commence until Germany was rebuilt.
The Deutz V12 are very rare and this is one of the oldest running examples in Australia.

Karmann-Ghia anniversary 50 years 1955-2005
On the 14th of July 1955 the Volkswagen Karmann Ghia was presented to the public. Members of the media and business were invited to the Kasino in Georgsmarienhütte, which is close to the Karmann factory in Osnabrück.
50 years on, Karmann Ghia friends around the world are invited to take part in these jubilee celebrations at the historical location, invited by the big Karmann Ghia clubs of Germany with the support of numerous sponsors and helpers. Georgsmarienhütte is situated a few kilometres south of Osnabrück in northern Germany.

Here is a video clip of Chris Addington's RodBuster - a 1969 Karmann Ghia that has a full-billet chassis, a twin Supercharger 2000cc, 4-cylinder horizontally opposed Volkswagen engine that is in the Full Custom show circuit at a early 1990s Volkswagen Bakersfield Summer Nationals.

Etapa da Classic Cup disputada em Interlagos no dia 16/07/2011, junto com a programação do Brasileiro de Marcas.
Neste video constam um desfile do grid da Classic Cup e dois ótimos duelos que aconteceram durante a prova: Um entre o Lada #69 e o Karmann Ghia #127 e outro entre o Passat #18 e o Fusca #99.
Gravação amadora feita a partir do muro do "S" do Senna (partida para o grid e largada) e do heliponto (a filmagem dos duelos).
