1983 Yamaha XJ900 Seca SST #1 is being rebuilt after a minor get off. While fairing is out for paint my brother-in-law built a jig so we can build SST's for customers. SST #2 is shown after jig was used for fitment of brackets for welding. We engineered the fairing from 1982/83 Yamaha XJ650 turbo Seca to fit on the 83 Yamaha XJ 900. Install Vents in Yamaha Venture Winshield
This is a video of the process used to install aviation vents in a motorcycle windshield. I shows how to drill through the windshield. This particular winshield is on a 2006 Yamaha Royal Star Venture. The hole saw was purchased at Lowes. The aviation vents were purchased from www.aircraftspruce.com.

The combination of amenities the 900 offers (shaft drive, easy to service twin shocks, 5.8 gallon tank, fuel guage, self canceling turn signals), and now a sport touring wind tunnel designed fairng....all ad up to the SST (acronym for Standard Sport Touring)
