1,600 Horsepower Duramax Diesel Kit from PPE

At ARP's Open House in June of 2010, PPE brought several of their show motors, including this Twin turbo Duramax diesel kit that utilizes a lot of ARP hardware. It makes 1,600 horsepower and PPE only uses ARP fasteners to hold everything together. Eric Sempson of PPE gives Chris Raschke from ARP an overview of this powerful engine package. PPE Duramax Project Complete
I'm not a certified mechanic but I managed to pull this duramax apart and put it back together. The good thing is everything works right! I am using PPE level 3 right now it really knocks you back in the seat. The shifts are really smooth and the truck seems less restrictive and more balanced. I have to be careful because my transmission is still stock.

PPE's 1,600 HP Twin Turbo Uses ARP Fasteners
Eric Sempson goes into detail about how PPE's Duramax Twin turbo Kit makes 1,600 HP (1,200 to the ground). With over 40 pounds of Boost, it takes the quality and reliability of ARP fasteners to hold it all together - it's all they use.
