In my opinion, it is quite different compared to the previous RS6 models, and in fact other RS models as well, because the sound is so much better than it used to be! Just listen to those two turbo's blowing and the sound on the overrun, lovely growls and blips! I really like this car... At the Los Angeles Auto Show, Marc Lichte, Head of Design, is presenting the Audi prologue concept car. Lichte is giving the Audi brand a new styling direction in the large coupe. Audi design is now expressing progressive technology even more powerfully. The two‑door coupe has a flowing, elegant shape in a sporty and taut design. Its forms and lines are unmistakable and introduce many new ideas. In the clear and unobstructed interior, the architecture melds with the display and operating concept to create a new type of unit. The entire front of the instrument panel is a large touch display, and a portion of the user interface operates with a new type of OLED display made of organic LEDs. The show car’s technology combines power, comfort and efficiency. The 4.0 TFSI produces up to 445 kW (605 hp) of power and 750 Nm (553.2 lb‑ft) of torque; it accelerates the Audi prologue from 0 to 100 km/h (62.1 mph) in 3.7 seconds. Its dynamic all‑wheel steering, in which the rear wheels can turn up to five degrees, makes the large couple extremely responsive and stable while driving. The Audi prologue is somewhat shorter and flatter than today’s production A8 with a length of 5.10 meters (16.7 ft), wheelbase of 2.94 meters (9.6 ft), width of 1.95 meters (6.4 ft) and height of 1.39 meters (4.6 ft). A dominant feature at its low front end is a Singleframe displaying the four rings that is integrated into the automobile architecture. The large radiator grille has been widened much more, and it is positioned lower than on today’s production models. Its strong horizontal effect expresses an image of powerful dynamics. The 1199 Panigale R has a 1.2-litre V-Twin with 195bhp. There is an even hotter Superlegera version but it’s sold out, so this R is the most powerful Ducati you can buy. The Audi RS6 has a 4.0-litre bi-turbo V8 with 560hp – that’s 10 horses more than an R8 V10 Plus, which is why we have chosen the estate for this track battle. Auto Express’s Owen Mildenhall will be in the RS6 while Alastair Fagan from Fast Bikes magazine will be on the Panigale. With 1032bhp per tonne the Ducati did 0-60mph in 3.2 seconds and the standing quarter in 10.5 seconds compared to 4.3 and 12.4 seconds for the 289bhp per tonne Audi. The bike clearly ruled in a straight line- but let’s see what happens when we add some corners... For a two-tonne car it's pretty impressive. It's got loads of grip, and the fact that the fan was still going a long time after we finished the race is an indication of how tightly packaged everything is under this bonnet, with a big V8 in there. There's loads of grip and massive straight-line performance. It's not the most thrilling car to drive on track because you can't really do much with it, it's not very adjustable. It just grips and that's it. You can't disable the stability control either, but there's no doubting it's really fast. The bike feels fast no matter what you do and no matter how fast you ride it, you always think you'll come back to a lap record - but as proven in the past it's not always correct. On this occasion, the bike beat the car - but in the car's defence, there's one thing you can do with it that you can't do with the bike: take the whole crew out for a hot lap!

27-FEB-07 Driver Survives Accident where Car is Cut in Two A car, an Audi, was cut in two as the result of a horiffic traffic accident on Friday evening. The accident happened on the road between Goesdorf and Dahl, shortly after 17:00, when its driver lost control and collided with a roadside tree (first picture / white marked). The impact broke the car in two. Amazingly, the driver survived the crash unharmed and was found in the wreckage when the emergency services arrived on the scene. He was not belted! The police believe that excessive speed (ca. 170 km/h) was a contributory factor in the accident.

Torque de 66kgfm ja a 1.500 rpm, tração QUATTRO que segura o carro em qualquer curva, 0-100km/h em 4,5 seg e 0-200km/h em 14,9 seg, equanto bmw m6, m5 e mercedes e63 amg levam em torno de 18 seg. Mas a diferença entre esses carros é que em um rs6 você vai vê-los pelo espelho retrovisor hehehe...
