69 GTO brought back to life

This is my old drag race GTO that I parked in 1986. A friend of mine bought it and has it running for the 1st time in 23 years. This is a video of me driving it.

9153 69 Pont GTO
www.coyoteclassics.com 1969 Pontiac GTO 2dr HT: #'s matching WT code 400 4bb, 350 HP 10.75-1, 4 speed manual transmission, key stone classic rims, rear spoiler, power steering, full console, and dual Exhaust. This is a good running and driving 242 code real GTO that has a remarkably solid original floors, frame, trunk, and body. The previous owner has owned this car since 1984 and the restoration is around 30 years old. The original white bucket seat with console interior is all complete but needs restored. The outside body was painted in black from its original light pastel yellow along time ago and the body is still in great shape but the paint is showing its age. This is a perfect GTO to restore or to simply drive and enjoy as is.

69 GTO Judge " Sounds Nasty " 4 Speed 2 1/2" Pypes Exhaust
1969 GTO Judge 1st. Cold start after being fully restored. The idle is a little high. It's a real PHS documented 1969 Pontiac GTO Judge. With a WS Ram Air III 400 CID engine, 4 Speed tranny. Running 3 tube hedman headers with a 2 1/2" Pypes with X crossover Exhaust system. I added lots of options including: Tilt, 8-Track, dual remote mirrors, maplight, Tinted windows, hideaway headlights, Exhaust tips, NOS Hurst emblem, Lojack, door edge guards, quick ratio power steering. The frame was powdercoated along with the control arms sway bar etc. The car had a rare Ram Air 4 Distributer that gives it a nice loopy sound along with a nasty cam.

70 Double Blown GTO
My 1970 GTO with two blowers. It's 474ci Pontiac engine with a 8-71 blower on top of a 6-71 blower. This is from the last day of being double blown. I'm going to one single 8-71 blower and going racing. The front clip was removed to make it easier to work on. The reason for the double blowers was not as a power enhancement like many ASSume. I stacked the blowers to have a car that stood out in the crowd. Most Pro Street cars were starting to blend together. If you seen one, you had seen them all. That wasn't the case with this GTO. Al someone had to say was "The double blower GTO" and people knew which car. I was told it couldn't be done, so I attempted it and it worked. It stayed that way for almost 2 years. I knew a twin turbo setup would make more HP. I knew I could have run a 14-71 blower and made more power. That wasn't the point. I wanted to be different than the other cars in the parking lot, I did that now it's time to ove on. For all those people who don't understand why, I'm not going to try and explain it to you anymore. Get over it. I didn't expect EVERYONE to love it. But you won't forget it.

WHAT A BRAND NEW 1969 PONTIAC GTO (ALMOST) LOOKS LIKE
THIS IS A SPECTACULAR RESTORATION OF A '69 GTO. IF YOU WENT TO A PONTIAC DEALER BACK IN '69 TO BUY A GTO THIS IS WHAT IT MOSTLY WOULD LOOK LIKE. THERE ARE SOME MODIFICATIONS LIKE THE CHROME RADIATOR SHROUD, ENGINE, AND OTHER FEATURES BUT MOST EVERY DETAIL IS LIKE NEW, FROM THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT, UNDERNEATH AS SEEN REFLECTED IN MIRRORS, THE INTERIOR IS PERFECT, AND ALSO THE TRUNK COMPARTMENT. IN 1969 MODEL 242, TEMPEST GTO'S CAME IN TWO MODELS: HARDTOP COUPE AND CONVERTIBLE COUPE. BOTH MODELS HAD A 112 INCH WHEELBASE WITH 64,851 COUPES MADE, AND 7,436 CONVERTIBLES PRODUCED. COUPES WERE PRICED AT $3,156 AND RAGTOPS PRICED AT $3,382. ENGINES WERE V8 400 CID, 4.12 X 3.75 BORE AND STROKE WITH 2 VERSIONS: 366 BHP AND 370 BHP. FOR ALL PONTIAC MODELS THERE WERE 13 ENGINE VARIANTS AVAILABLE. THIS IS PART OF PONTIAC'S HERITAGE THEN, DIFFERENT SIZE MUSCLE FOR DIFFERENT SIZE PONTIACS. BUT CHECK THIS JEWEL OUT. THIS IS A ONE OF A KIND RESTORATION OF A SELDOM SEEN GTO. SO BACK IN '69 WHEN YOU WENT TO THE PONTIAC DEALER TO BUY A GTO, THIS IS MOSTLY WHAT THE SALESMAN WOULD HAVE SHOWN YOU. A BRAND NEW OPTIC ORANGE DREAM CAR WITH THE BLACK VINYL INTERIOR. Another restored car brought to you by 55lincoln.
