Irwindale California 3.14.2010 Drag Day, goes 121mph in the 8th mile. I followed the crew back to the pits where they found a bent pushrod. Still a great job and a great car. Legendary.

gunna put a new intake carb and headers on it still did pretty good 73 mph in the 1/8 beat a 300c with a hemi and a mercury capri with a done up 5litre and almost got a porsche lost by about half a car lenght the red Camaro is my old highschool drag car with a blower on her now

Hyper Bug 1641cc turbo/nitrous VW Beetle Drag Car
Shot this video this weekend at Farmington, NC. The Hyper Bug has been around for A LONG time, but this was the first time I have seen it with this engine - 1641cc, no frills turbo with Nitrous. I didn't expect much...boy I was wrong. The car actually went much quicker than this run, but I missed the first pass because I just didn't realize what I was about to witness! ENJOY!
