Saab 900 en restauration.
Après réfection des trains roulants et traque de la rouille, le moteur a
repris place dans une baie rénovée...
Une première étape franchie dans la restauration de cette merveilleuse
1985 Saab 900 SPG - Megasquirt 2 Extra Rev Limiter
Testing the spark cut Rev Limiter in Megasquirt 2 Extra on my 1985 Saab 900
SPG. The rev limiter was set to 5000rpm which was too low and I was hitting
it too easily. I have since raised it to 6000 rpm which is much better.
The day after I made this video my transmission exploded. 3rd gear sheered
off because of pinion bearing failure. Just before the video ends when I
release the clutch with the gearbox in neutral you can hear the pinion
SAAB 900 Classic tribute.
Sorry, I know, my video is short, and the image is changing very fast. The
Fate had a video about 2:30, but when I tried to upload it, the upload is
always interrupted in the middle, around 350MB, and this was repeated at
least 10 - 12 times. Then I rebuilt everything, I had to eliminate more
than 50% of images. Among other things the staff has changed my original
audio track. Rated but anyway, if you will. Thank you.
Saab 900 Turbo Holset HX35 - 18psi 392whp Boost request set at 22psi. That
level reached prior to these pulls but no longer able to due to hardware
issues that need to be addressed. Video clips shot directly after tune,
spark plugs in horrible condition and possibly a dying Boost controller (BPC).

Saab 900 turbo on the Stelvio Pass
On August 15th 2010, we drove a MY84 Saab 900 T16 and a MY88 Saab 900 Aero
up and over the Stelvio Pass; also formally known as the 'best driving road
in the world' (Jeremy Clarkson - Top Gear). Besides the fact that we had to
cope with rain, hail and the occasional campervan, it was a delight and the
best day ever spent in an old Saab.
