1999 Oldsmobile Alero GL (attempt to start with blown engine)
This was actually filmed in January of 2010. This was my car from 2005 -
2007 and then my brother took it after I got my Aztek. When I first got it,
the intake gasket on the 3.4 Liter V6 started leaking, so I had it fixed as
soon as I could. Come to find out sometime in the summer of 2009 that it
started leaking again because the person who did it the first time didn't
fix it properly. My brother had it fixed for the second time, but it must
have been too late. On Dec. 26, 2009, it was toast. The camshaft on the
front half of the engine broke which caused a valve to be stuck open, thus
the piston came up and jammed that valve.

Alero's Have Potential!
Olds Alero runs 14's
An Oldsmobile Alero can't do that! No turbo, no S/C, no spray and my Alero runs 14.96 at
E-town. It runs 1/2 second faster
at Atco. An Alero can be fast, if you know what you are doing. The guys in
the tower are having fun with me too! This happens when you've been racing
at the same track for a few years
