Competitors: Toyota Corolla, Ford Focus, Dodge Dart, Chevrolet Cruze, Nissan Sentra What Camerons Car Reviews has to say about the 3: The compact car segment is heating up these days with so many choices on the market it's really hard to say if there is only one go to choice in the market. For 2014 many of the cars in this segment have gone upscale in terms of features and technology and the 3 is going along with that philosophy. It pulls you through a 2.0 L 4-Cylinder or a 2.5 L 4-Cylinder earning up to 40 MPG with the 2.0 L. A 6-Speed Manual or 6-Speed Automatic is available for both of these powertrains. In terms of the technology and safety of this vehicle there is alot of it whether you want Blind Spot Monitoring, Lane Departure Warning, or an advanced Smart City Brake Support you have it on the 3. Build quality is also excellent with no gaps in between the materials and soft touch interior accents all around make it a high quality interior. In terms of driving dynamics and engine noise the driving dynamics of the 3 is one of the best in it's class giving much feedback and a sporty character you won't miss, however engine noise is a slight problem here especially with the 2.0 L 4-Cylinder however we suspect most people will overlook that. Compared to it's competitors the new 3 is very competitive making it a well rounded compact car that will certainly not disappoint, however make sure the price tag is right for you and that engine noise as well as rear seat accommodation's is good enough for you.

2hp: Mazda 3 VS Honda Civic. 2014
Today we will make a comparative test drive between the two eternal rivals: Honda Civic and Mazda 3. It is obvious that Honda Civic looks restrained, conservative, but at the same time quite boring. What can not be said about Mazda 3. It is emotional, sporty and aggressive.

2014 Mazda3 vs Subaru Impreza 0-60 MPH Matchup Review
( http://www.TFLcar.com ) The 2014 Mazda3 and the 2014 Subaru Impreza directly compete against each other. They are also two of the slowest cars that we've ever tested at a mile above sea level....at least the previous generation of both vehicles. The current cars both feature fuel efficient 2.0L engine so they both get exceptional fuel economy. However there are very important differences. The Subaru uses a CVT transmission and comes with all-wheel-drive while the Mazda is front-wheel-drive and had a more traditional 6 speed automatic. So which of these two brand new economy cars is the most fuel efficient? That's easy to find out but which one is faster? In another accurate, fun and informative TFLcar review Nathan and Roman test the cars in a 0-60 MPH grudge match. NEW 2014 Mazda3 Sedan - INTERIOR
Mazda's top-selling model of all time becomes the third member of a new generation featuring the automaker's "KODO -- Soul of Motion" design and its full range of convention-defying SKYACTIV Technology. The new Mazda3 thereby joins its award- winning siblings: the Mazda CX-5, a compact SUV launched in 2012, and the mid-sized Mazda6. Consisting of lightweight engines, transmissions, body and chassis, SKYACTIV Technology was developed by Mazda from the ground up as the basis for ultra-efficient vehicles. It has also helped put Mazda back on track as a business: The improvements achieved through SKYACTIV innovation have considerably enhanced the efficiency of its manufacturing and development processes. The new Mazda3 is also the latest model developed according to Sustainable Zoom-Zoom, Mazda's strategy to build fuel-efficient and safe cars that are still remarkably fun to drive. It is therefore available with i-stop, the world's fastest idle-stop system, and i-ELOOP, Mazda's brake energy regeneration system. Performance, meanwhile, is impressive thanks to the all- new engines and transmissions. And with a number of other SKYACTIV innovations adapted to the smaller, leaner packaging of the compact Mazda3, it's got the handling to match and should be one of the safest compacts available when it goes on sale in Europe this fall. ► SUBSCRIBE NOW: http://www.youtube.com/subscription_center?add_user=youcarpress ► FACEBOOK: http://www.facebook.com/youcarpress ► TWITTER: http://www.twitter.com/youcartv

2014 / 2015 Mazda Mazda3 Review and Road Test
Check out my other videos! http://vid.io/xqoB Who is Alex? Find out here! http://vid.io/xqoF Latest Mazda3 video: http://youtu.be/ILLrQhtLTKo Facebook: http://facebook.com/alexonautos Twitta: http://twitter.com/alexonautos Web: http://alexonautos.com The mainstream compact car segment is the perfect example of the infamous "driving appliance." The Corolla and Civic sell in enormous volume because they are the middle-of-the-road "white bread" option, not in-spite of the vanilla. Unlike many in the automotive press, I don't find anything wrong with that. In fact, I love me some Wonder Bread. But sometimes you feel like a pumpernickel, and that's where the 2014 Mazda3 comes in. Mazda was so excited about their new loaf that they invited me to spend the day with them in San Diego. Want to know if you should spend 5+ years with one? Accounting for 30% of Mazda's worldwide volume, calling the Mazda3 their most important product would be putting things lightly. As a result 2014 brings a complete overhaul to every aspect of the 3 and the compact sedan now rides on a platform derived from the larger 6. The "Kodo" design language of the larger sedan has also been brought down to its smaller stablemate to astonishing effect. While the old Mazda3 was all smiles and bubbles, the new 3 is all grown up and aggressive with Mazda's incredibly attractive grille. Before the 3′s release I was quite torn about who was the fairest of them all but now there is no contest. The base engine for 2014 is a 2.0L 155 horse four-cylinder that's good for 150 lb-ft of twist and 30/41/34 MPG (City/Highway/Combined) with the 6-speed automatic. If you have the cash you can upgrade to the 2.5L engine (shared with the CX-5 and Mazda6) which bumps these numbers up to 184 horses and 185 lb-ft while dropping fuel economy to 28/39/32. With pricing that ranges from $16,945 (sedan) to a hair under $30,000 (loaded hatch) if you check all the option boxes on a Mazda3 hatch, it's obvious the Mazda spans the price spectrum from white bread in a bag to a paper-wrapped organic artisan cheesy sourdough. Like the Ford Focus, this large price span means the $19,495 iSport and $20,645 iTouring compete with the bulk of Corolla/Civic shoppers while the upper level trims compete with the Ford Focus, Acura ILX, Lexus CT200h, Buick Verano, and the few that shopped Volvo's defunct C30. Compared to the Civic and Corolla, the Mazda3 delivers superior dynamics and more premium dash materials in exchange for less tech and no touchscreen infotainment. This is a dangerous trade in a segment known for placing features before fun. On the flip side, the Mazda3 has everything it needs to compete with the Focus, ILX, Verano and CT200h. Mazda's chassis tuning makes the Mazda the most fun to drive (even considering the ILX 2.4′s Civic Si roots), the infotainment system is entry-level luxury worthy and 2014 brings all full-speed range radar cruise control and ever gadget the Buick and Lexus shopper could want. So is the Mazda3 the perfect pumpernickel for Wonder Bread prices? As good as. Civirolla shoppers who can be convinced to cross-shop will be pleased with Mazda's sexy exterior, comfortable seats and road manners, but those after large seats and large trunks will return to the white bread alternative. I suspect the near luxury shoppers are the ones that will miss out the most however thinking that nothing this tasty could come in a package with a Mazda logo on it. Their loss.

Redline Review: 2015 Mazda CX-5
No longer just a re-badge Ford, Mazda starts from scratch and builds us a compact SUV with the soul of a Miata. The 2015 CX-5 has all the traditional strengths: a roomy cabin, good fuel efficiency, an excellent driving position, and good cargo space. Only a lack of an upgrade engine and slightly dated cabin tech keep it from being the best in the segment.

The All New 2014 Mazda3 - Review and Test Drive
http://mynewmazda.ca/2014-mazda3-reviews/ This is the All New Mazda3. A brand new car from the ground up, and the most technologically advanced car Mazda has ever built. Available in either sedan or sport hatchback - in either body style the Mazda3 has a striking new design, inspired by Mazda's KODO design language. That means a bold, sporty look and distinctive character lines throughout the car. But it's more than just style, the design helps the car cut through the air so it achieves outstanding aerodynamic performance. Inside this GT there's a very refined interior -- this one featuring these stunning white leather seats. Once you fire up the GT, the class-exclusive Active Driving display raises. The really great thing about this is that you don't have to take your eyes off the road to get pertinent information like vehicle speed and unlike the Honda Civic, only you will know how fast you're going -- much to the dismay of back seat drivers everywhere. The new Mazda Connect infotainment system comes in at a large 7 inches and is positioned higher up on the dashboard to make it easier for the driver to see. Everything about this Mazda Connect system is intuitive and easy to use thanks to the well situated HMI controller. Navigation is standard in this GT, but is available in the mid-range GS as an accessory while back-up camera comes standard in the GS and GT models Thanks to integration with Aha, you'll have access to thousands of free, on-demand stations. Choose from a variety of music, internet radio, podcasts, audio books along with your Facebook and Twitter updates. The new Mazda3 is built on SKYACTIV Technology, which is all about reducing weight, lowering fuel consumption, improving performance yet most importantly being exhilarating to drive. And even with all the fuel savings, the Mazda3 still has that spirited feel when you put your foot down, and that same agility through the corners that Mazda's are known for. Under the hood, there's a choice of engines. There's the 2 litre SKYACTIV-G engine in the GX and GS trim levels that gets the exact same fuel economy as the Jetta TDI And in this GT you get the 2.5 litre SKYACTIV-G engine which produces 10% more horsepower and 10% more torque over the previous generation's 2.5 all while getting roughly 30% better fuel economy. In the Technology package, there's smart new technology that closes the energy loop. When you take your foot off the accelerator, that forward energy is normally lost. i-ELOOP is a capacitor based system that captures that energy, stores it, and then uses it again to power the cars electrical systems, which saves you fuel in the process. The Mazda3 has a new suite of advanced safety technologies called i-ACTIVSENSE. High tech devices around the car like cameras and radar help you the driver to recognise hazards and avoid collisions. The All-New Mazda3 is really changing the game in the compact car class. With cutting edge styling and technology designed to not only look and feel great, but to save you money at the same time.
