This is my EFI kit for Porsche 911's. Triumph Speed Triple EFI throttle bodies adapted to Weber manifolds w/Megasquirt controller. Retro-cool ITB's w/modern engine management. Tested: MSD's Atomic EFI system
We got our hands on the new MSD Atomic EFI conversion kit and test it out on a 1969 Nova with a GM 454ci big-block crate engine. We removed the Nova's old 850 cfm carb, which choked and gagged it's way to an underwhelming 285 hp and 296 ft/lbs of torque on the Dyno. In a matter of hours, we had the MSD Atomic EFI kit installed and back on the Dyno for more testing. The installation couldn't have been easier and the end result increased power to 315 hp and 322 ft/lbs at the rear tires with better drivability, a crisper throttle response, and improved idle. 428 FE Ford Stroked to 462 with EZ EFI on dyno - 538 Horsepower
Ford 428 engine stroked to 462 cubes. Victor intake with FAST multiport EZ-EFI system. Hydraulic roller cam. Mildly modified Edelbrock heads and 9.7:1 compression. Tested on 93 octane pump gas. Peak horsepower was 534 at 5900 RPM, peak torque was 540 @ 4600 RPM. The steam from the breathers is just because the Dyno cell was COOOLD - it was around 10 degrees outside and every time we shut down the fans after a pull the room would drop temperature. You could see your breath in there.
