Porsche 944 Crash at Gateway International Raceway
Going into an S-curve flat-out in 4th gear, somewhere around 80 MPH, when suspension damage from incident during practice apparently caught up with me. This approach worked well on previous laps, but the front left suspension had been making noises for a few laps leading up to this incident. When going through the first half of the turn this time around, the car acted quite a bit different from previous laps... it understeered a bit and took about twice as long to settle than normal.
