2013 Dodge Challenger SRT8 Muscle Car Video Review

http://www.autobytel.com/dodge/challenger/2013/srt8/ When you think of the modern day American muscle car, the Chevy Camaro and Ford Mustang come to mind. But it's the Dodge Challenger that needs to be recognized. And the vehicle in this video is no ordinary Challenger. This 2013 Dodge Challenger is dubbed the SRT8 (SRT stands for Street and Racing Technology) and packs a 392 HEMI engine under the hood. The base price on the 2013 Dodge Challenger SRT8 is $43,775. The 392 HEMI that powers the Dodge Challenger is a 6.2 liter V-8 engine that makes 470 horsepower and 470 lb-ft. of torque. There are 2 transmission choices available: a 5-speed automatic and a 6-speed manual. Fuel economy is 14 MPG in the city and 23 MPG on the highway. The 2013 Dodge Challenger is a massive car since it is based on the Chrysler 300 platform. On the inside the Challenger is quite comfortable. On the outside the Challenger can either be subtle or in-your-face depending on the paint job. The 2013 Dodge Challenger is a great looking car, it's a great sounding car, it's a great 0-60 car, but the handling is not so great thanks to the high curb weight. But one thing is for sure; you will get noticed when you drive this SRT8. See More Car Videos http://www.autobytel.com/car-videos/ Join Our Facebook Page http://www.facebook.com/autobytel

Scion Racing FR-S Tuner Challenge Cars @ SEMA w/ Ken Gushi
http://www.autobytel.com/new-cars/scion/ Autobytel caught up with Scion Racing driver/drifter Ken Gushi at the 2012 SEMA show for a little inside look at the Scion display. Not only did Scion win the hottest sport compact car award at SEMA, but Scion played host to a select group of the front engine rear drive tuner cars competing in the Scion Tuner Challenge. This is a huge testament to the brand and especially to the popularity of the Scion FR-S car. The Tuner Challenge cars all came out great and each builder had their own ideas and tastes that were applied to the individual cars. The Carbon Stealth FR-S, FR-S GT and minty FReSh have quickly become crowd favorites. But it's the bold bodied race inspired FR-S GT and Evasive Motorsport versions that catch Ken's eye. 2013 Ford Mustang Boss 302 Track Test Drive & Muscle Car Video Review
http://www.autobytel.com/ford/Mustang/2013/boss-302-coupe/ For years Ford has been making some very powerful cars with the Shelby Cobra GT500 and even the all new 400 HP Coyote 5.0 Liter V8 found under the hood of the Mustang GT that can "Go like Hell" in a straight line; however the one problem that plagued Ford's pony car lineup was effectively getting all that power to the ground and around a turn. Harking back to the days of Parnelli Jones and classic Trans-Am racing, the Blue Oval has brought back the famed Boss 302 for 2013, and it comes ready for the track at only $42,200. The 5.0 liter V-8 engine in the Boss 302 puts out 444 horsepower which is more than the Mustang GT. The increased power comes mainly from shortened intake runners. The Boss 302 is differentiated from the GT thanks to a ton of badging and unique Boss 302 stripe. The Boss comes with 19-inch wheels with summer compound tires that help keep the car on the track. On the inside you get factory installed sport seats with Alcantara inserts. You also get an Alcantara steering wheel and headliner. One drawback with track tuned cars is usually the rough ride on the road thanks to the stiff suspension. The Boss 302 has an adjustable suspension to give you a comfortable ride when commuting to work and a stiff suspension for handling curves on the track. If you plan on taking your Mustang GT on the track, you might as well spend the extra money and step on up to the 2013 Ford Mustang Boss 302. 2013 Buick Verano Turbo Test Drive & Luxury Car Video Review
http://www.autobytel.com/buick/verano/2013/ The Buick Verano is a compact entry-level luxury sedan that debuted in 2012. Well now we have the turbo model which has a 2.0 liter 4-cylinder Ecotec engine that makes 250 horsepower and 260 lb-ft. of torque. Essentially this turbo is a trim upgrade from the top level Verano. There are 2 transmission choices: a 6-speed automatic or a 6-speed manual. Fuel economy checks in at 20 MPG in the city and 31 MPG on the highway. The Buick Verano with the Premium Group Package which includes the Ecotec turbo engine has a base price of $29,990. The 2013 Buick Verano turbo has a 0-60 MPH time of 6.2 seconds. The car is very responsive and has a very smooth power delivery. As a comparison, the closest vehicle in this segment would have to be the Acura ILX Sport which cost more and has a less powerful engine. The Buick Verano has a very nice luxury interior on the inside while the outside styling is better than any other car in this segment. The compact luxury segment seems to be growing as is evident with the new cars to this segment like the Acura ILX. The Verano is evidence that Buick is actually beating Acura at their own game. 2012 Dodge Challenger R/T Test Drive & Car Review
http://www.autobytel.com/dodge/challenger/2012/ The 2012 Dodge Challenger R/T is one good looking automobile and this muscle car exudes a road presence unmatched by the Mustang or Camaro. Outside the Challenger has remained true to its heritage with nice broad shoulders and retro front end. The Challenger R/T has a base price of just under $30k but offers the best deal of the bunch. The base V-6 model costs $25k ($5k less) but with the R/T model you get the 5.7 HEMI V-8 engine that produces 410 horsepower and 400 lb-ft. of torque. The Challenger SRT-8 is almost $14k more than the R/T. The 2012 Dodge Challenger R/T gets 15 MPG in the city and 23 MPG on the highway but you do not buy a muscle car for its gas mileage. The Challenger is built on the Chrysler 300 chassis which is why it has the most comfortable ride of all the new muscle cars that are currently for sale. 2013 Dodge Challenger Super Sport Review, Walkaround, Exhaust, & Test Drive
With its classic muscle car looks, spacious interior, and potent engine choices, the current Dodge Challenger makes for a compelling choice. Just be sure you don't plan on using it on the track or if your commute involves a consistent blast on curvy back roads.

Reviewed 2013 Dodge Challenger SRT8: Is It Still Mopar or NoCar?
For some in the muscle car community the phrase Mopar or NoCar still rings true. The 2013 Dodge Challenger SRT8 was our first chance to get behind the wheel of the modern retro muscle car, and it rounded out or sampling, having previously driven the Camaro and the Mustang. The Dodge has always looked good, but how does it drive? That's what we find out in this episode of Rumblestrip.NET and Ten Minute Test Drive.
