Here's my very first drag race. My car is the Maverick with a 302. The Duster barely beat me, but if I had done better off the launch I would have had him.

1973 Maverick Grabber 332 Stroker first test drive
This is the first test drive of an 8 month build. It's a very clean 1973 Maverick Grabber that has been converted to a top loader 4 speed. The engine is a 332 Scat Stroker, with Dart Aluminum heads, roller cam, MSD, etc. During the build we also installed an SSBC 4 wheel disc brake conversion. My wife was trying to film the "maiden voyage" and the camcorder batteries went dead. She was relegated to the front porch using the AC adapter. We will get it out on the road for more footage soon....
1970 Ford Maverick
Just a quick little video of my father in law taking his daughters boyfriend out for his first Maverick ride. Hoping to get some better footage up before the summer is up.
1970 Ford Maverick 557 Cubic Inches
Not my car, but the engine was just finished and I was helping a little as he broke in the engine for the first time. Beautiful car.
Driving the 1971 Ford Maverick From Fast Five
Here in the United States the Ford Maverick is remembered, if it's remembered at all, as the car that replaced Ford's original compact, the Falcon, back in 1970.
