Nice '87 5.7L V8 IROC-Z Camaro
Cold start of my 5.7L V8 TPI IROC-Z Camaro with tons of mods: Aftermarket Exhaust, Z06 corvette rims, aftermarket cam, 2 crossfire amps with capacitor, 2 10" treo subs, sony xplod cd player with usb input, new interior, new dash, fresh paint, and 35% tint all the way around. A true survivor and a work of engineering art. This was named the best handling American car in the 80's and I can see why. this car has wheel spacers and low profile tires which means It handles like it's on rails. In the video it sounds as if there is a knock from the motor but I don't think it's anything major because it goes away completely once it warms up. I have heard that the clip holding the piston to the rod sometimes can make this sound when the engine is cold. If you recognize this sound to be a specific problem let me know, there is always someone who knows more about engines than myself.
