Just a drive in my Sierra
Was just out for a little drive in my Ford Sierra 2.0i DOHC... Also to

The first Ford vehicle to have the bold new "aero" look styling was the
1981 Ford Probe III concept car. The good reception this received
encouraged Ford management to go ahead with a production car with styling
almost as challenging. This "aero" look influenced Fords worldwide

Watch the 2015 Ford F-450 6.7L Diesel Super Duty Debut at the State Fair of Texas
( http://www.TFLtruck.com ) Ford introduced its 2015 F-Series Super Duty
lineup at the Texas State Fair and the big news is a better Power Stroke V8
turbo diesel engine. They've also beefed
up the F-450 to make it even tougher. The new Power Stroke features a
larger GT37 turbocharger that measures
72.5 millimeters in diameter versus the smaller GT32 it replaces which came
in at 64 millimeters. This means Exhaust gases have a larger surface area to spin
the turbo so you'll get extra power.

Austin Metro Review (Top Gear 1991)
Quentin Wilson gives a review of the first generation Austin Metro (1980 to
1990 models), pointing out it's short comings, such as the rust issues and
the somewhat unreliable Hydragas suspension and the A-Series engine. As a
result, these cars are now as rare as hen's teeth.

XR3 Ford Escort - Home Made Top Gear style
(Since Google+ made changes 2013, I cannot reply). A home made Top Gear
style movie about the Ford Escort XR3. Featuring my two cars LYP (stored) &
YNO (the one now running). Designed to bring back memories for those that
had one (or those that didn't), with shots all around the cars. I hope you
At the middle to end of 1982 the 1600i and RS turbo were still to come out, so the XR3 was the
top of the range Escort at that moment in time. The Escort was the UK's and
the world's top selling car in 1982, and it had been voted European car of
the year in 1981. XR3 variants were made from the Mk3 Escort onwards.
LYP I bought in 1986 when it was 4 years old, and I just turned 25. It
hasn't run since 2008 and is in long-term storage. YNO I bought in 2008 and
I have done that up too. YNO won a trophy at a car show in 2011 and is
running - it is roadworthy. Quite a special car.

That is all I know after asking the first owner about them. I don't know
how they work, or if Fords fitted them or not. Mind you it would be easy to
remove them as they just screw into the Exhaust manifold. They seem to be some sort of
diaphragm contraption. I've never seen them on any other car!
Update - someone who fitted these said they are aftermarket additions. They
could easily be removed it needed. But they are probably the only example
of them on any car still running I reckon.
