TVR T350 In car video at TVR Speed Championship June 2012. Two practice laps, then two timed in afternoon. Managed fastest TVR time in our one-lap sprint, at 74 secs. All the TVR's posted good times on the new tarmac on this interesting course, though we'll all be quicker next year now we have a clue which way the track goes. Engine is 4.2 version of TVR straight six, 430bhp, built by STR8SIX. Quaife diff and gearbox, Nitron 3-way dampers, JP big-bore Exhaust system. Caterham Academy 2013, Blyton Park Sprint, Cheesy
Hectic day in the cold/hot/sun/soaking wet Blyton Park sprint as round 3 of the 2013 Caterham Academy Championship. This run nabbed me the win in Group 1. Extremely happy with this lap as I only had 4 dry attempts through the day.

Sprint Record at Blyton Park
This weekend saw Blyton Park host the Westfield Sports Car Cub organised two day sprint event. With over 100 competitors battling it out in their respective classes, competition was always going to be close. The current sprint circuit record was held by Jonathan Toulmin, who set a time of 63.71 seconds back in June in a Force PT 1.6. Our new record holder is Steve Miles who piloted his 2 litre Van Diemen RF96mm12 to the new course record of 59.62 seconds averaging almost 84mph over the lap. Steve had to be at his best because pushing him all the way was Glyn Sketchley in his Force PT 1500 who recorded a time of 59.70 seconds. The two battled it out throughout the day lowering the course record no less than four times with just 8 hundredths of a second separating them by the end of the day.
