Most hated Dragbike crash and aftermath video on You-Tube
Accident during testing at Brotherhood Raceway, Terminal Island, Long beach, California. 1994 Luckily no one was seriously injured in the accident, because of the track configuration and only having one camera at the starting there is no actual footage of the wreck, however the coverage of the aftermath is something that is almost never seen. The moral of the story is to always pay attention to the race surface where you are at, if it is unsafe DO NOT do it and always wear your protective gear, helmet, gloves, leathers. "Black Sunshine" was repaired and has a happy home in Utah.

Polaris Snowmobile Engine Powered Kawasaki Asphalt Drag Bike @ Dragway 42
First video with a Kodak Zi8. I couldn't get the editing software to work. 1998 Polaris xc700 snowmobile engine in a '79 Kaw KZ650SR frame. On this run the bike pulled to the right, and I had to let off for a second. Best run so far, 9.68 @ 132 mph in the quarter. Clutching is still a long way off. Was Dynoed at Dynotech Research in Batavia, NY on 7/3/2009 Made 162.1 hp @8300 rpm, 102.1 lbs/ft. @ 8300

Best Bike Suzuki produced in the 80s - 1982 GS1100E
Seen on mcreports.com: GS1100E 1982-1983 " In 1982 the GS1100E was liberated from its role of all-around motorcycle. Admittedly it was an awesome machine, and king of the dragstrip, but it was happy in many roles. With the introduction of the GS1100G, the 'E' model could really let loose and go for gold. The engine was breathed on and the styling changed to be reminiscent of the early-80's Katana's, combining spedd with function and styling. Power in 1982 was 108bhp@8500rpm, with torque of 67.6@6500. Wet weight was 549lb's. "

1982 Suzuki GS1100 Dragbike - First Startup
1982 Suzuki GS1100 Dragbike - First Startup on starting fluid a few days after I bought the bike as a complete basket case. Bike runs a Dyna S Ignition thank goodness, and the custom wiring harness was a breeze. Still have to find a gas tank to fit under the carbon body, and locate some original parts.
