This is a project that was recently completed at Pressurized Solutions. A
client came to them to have his stock Mustang cobra equipped with
Pressurized Solutions new Stage 3 twin turbo kit. This car is built for the street and
produces 1250 RWHP and maintains great drivability. The car is equipped
with a 427 SBF fed by twin turbonetics
T-76 turbos, ptc converter and trans,
FAST engine management and an AMS-100.
Mercury Cars of 1949 to 1951
The Mercury car model has been around since 1939 and was introduced as a
mid range priced vehicle by Edsel Ford.
Cars built between 1949 and 1951, would in later years prove to be very
popular amongst the Hot Rod Car Enthusiasts. They would reshape the steel
to produce cars that would set a new standard for Customized Vehicles.
Early model Mercury cars of 1949 to 1951 had a 90 degree V type, "L" head 8
cylinder engine with a displacement of 255.4 cubic inches. These engines
put out 112 horsepower at 3600 R.P.M.
Later model cars of 1955 replaced the "L" engine with the "Y" block V-8
producing between 188 and 198 horsepower dependant on the
engine type for that year.

Run during Ford Fever Classic at Woodburn dragstrip in Woodburn, Oregon.
Happened august of last year and was about 90 degrees during the run. Had
a best time of 13.33 @ 103.2 earlier on when it was cooler but videographer
(dad) pressed the stop button right before the race. But I did beat a Mustang that was 20 years
newer than mine. He had a tune, slicks, and cat-back Exhaust with a time of 13.5 @106.

MBC @23lbs on stock T3 with .48 turbine housing
stock intake and Exhaust manifolds

10+ year old BFG drag radials
Ported E6 and matched turbine housing
gutted tall upper and ported lower intakes
RR cam with essy star gear at -4 degrees
LA3 for improved timing tables
Ported/Polished head with big valves
