(HD) Texas_Ace 2000 Toyota 4runner TRD Supercharger 10.68 Sec Drag Race vs Miata
So i finally got my truck to the 1/8th mile drag track and raced an early 90's miata. The truck did pretty well considering. It is still on the stock Supercharger pulley only running ~5.5psi of Boost and severl other small issues that was keeping it from making what it should.
I ran real consistant 10.6's all night, Once i get it running in tip top shape i plan to run it again and it should easily break into the 9's with 50+ more hp
Overall not bad for a 5000lb truck with the tools and street tires/wheel for my MR2 in the back. just dropping all the extra weight would have made it faster.

This is a demo of my TRD supercharged 4runner playing around on the street.
Pretty self explanatory really.
0-60 in about 7 seconds. Lots of smoke, long black lines and going way too
fast for an SUV.

Texas_Ace 2000 Toyota 4runner Dyno Run with TRD Supercharger, Headers & URD 7th injector kit
This is the Dyno run
of my 2000 toyota 4runner.
It has the stock 5vzfe 3.4l V6 in it with a 1st gen TRD Supercharger installed. I also have Doug Thorley
Headers, URD 7th injector kit, high-flow cat and a few other goodies.
These runs were done with the 2.2 and then stock pulley. I ended up finding
that my belt was slipping or for some other reason i am not getting any
extra Boost with the 2.2 vs stock. I
ended up making the same power with both due to the same Boost (about 6psi).
Final power outcome was 225hp and a tourqe "curve" that was FLAT, you could
put a ruler on it, You can view the uncorrected Dyno sheet here, it also shows
the comparison from the stock intake with elbow removed and the cold air
intake. The stock intake is the higher one.
Remember though, tune needs a little work and the stock airbox with ISR
intact and a dirty air filter (didn't even think about the filter until i
was on the Dyno). The
Supercharger also needs new roots (the
ones in it have 75k+ miles on them) It was also heat soaked BAD, every run
we did, had less power except for when we let it sit for a little bit.
Without all of that i am sure I am putting down at least 230hp - 240hp at
