1986 mustang gt For sale
Im selling a 1986 Mustang
gt 5 speed manual trans. I just pruchased from the orig owner a month ago.
Cars runs great. It was all stock down to the air silincer and factory
radio. The orig owner was a friend of the family. I have done some
tastefull mods in plans to keep it but the wifey is not feeling it and i
need a truck. Im an ase master certified technician. This would of been my
8th Mustang so im not new
to these. I have a race car and dont need another hot rod. The car just
passed smog today with flying colors. June 9th 2013
In the past month i have installed a new headliner, dash cover, replaced
the rear hatch with one from a 87 gt and 87 lx tailights. installed a
flowmaster catback with 2 1/2 piping, replaced all fluids and filters.
Added ford motorsport lowering c springs, Converted to 5 lug (lincoln
ranger swap )with all new components 73mm ft calipers and new pads and new
rear brake shoes and drums, Added newer gt wheels. Added a fram air hog
filter, Performed a 3g 130amp alternator conversion, installed crank
underdrive pulley and new belt, Added new rear hatch shocks, Car already
was a factory ac delete car, manual windows and maunal locks. Full tune up
cap, rotor, wires, and plugs new pcv. Newer fan and clutch. This is a great
running car gets good gas mileage for being a v8 and runs VERY well. I hate
to sell but i already have one hotrod no need for 2.
Due to age the car will need a couple of things like a door and window seal
kit, The body has some dents and dings and clearcoat peel. But everything
is there. It even has the fog light covers still installed. This is a rare
find. To find an unmolested 5.0 Mustang with all these sidewhowed out
Mustangs out there. This
car has been babied all of its life. Just needs some rubber love and its
good to go.
$3500 obo or trade for a extended cab pickup truck.
